TBIS was supposed to be the key for humans to evolve into the changing world, a way for humanity to have a chance to adapt. However, it was all a facade for the lab to experiment on fellow humans without anyone raising suspicion, hiding what they were doing underneath the whole thing. Without shame, they always say they take volunteers who aren't afraid and eager to get the chance to be something new, but in truth, they steal people from their homes or off the streets. Their targets are always those who won't be looking for them, as no one will bat an eye over their disappearance. Worse, if they're not enough of their desired targets, they'll make it themselves by shamelessly eradicating families to get what they want. With each disappearance and mysterious death/missing person case involving families, TBIS creates a facade that something's out there and hunting the human race, an unseeable enemy which was enough to put the masses off their backs. It's all a fake story...or is it?

TBIS has been going on since 1990, and its technology wasn't as advanced as now, which resulted in many casualties in their experiments. Only a few managed to survive, and they were known as Generation One or First Mutants. The First Mutants were rare and hard to come by, considering most perish at an early age from poor bodily health and are driven crazy from the contact testing, resulting in the laboratory eradicating them. An incident occurred in 2000 on December 23rd, when one of the laboratories in Anartica exploded, and the First Mutants escaped. TBIS managed to re-capture half of them and relocate them to a more heavy-security holding facility, but the other half escaped capture and roamed the world undercover. This resulted in the second generation forming two separate mutants: Half-Breed and Full-Breed mutants.

To start, let's go over the Full-Breeds, as they're the ones who'll make their escape from the TBIS lab in Arizona. Full-Breeds, or FBs, are mutants whose parents are the FM humans and were captured once more by the facility. They're the product of two FM experiments, with their bodies selectively bred to handle their abilities better than their parents. They're a lot stronger than the FMs, but they run into an issue called an Overcharge. An Overcharge is when their bodies can't handle their powers past certain limits before it disintegrates into a pile of crystal ashes, killing them swiftly. To summarize, they're stronger power-wise, but their bodies can only sustain for so long before being overwhelmed.

The next Second Generation is the Half-Breeds, the product of the escaped and free experiments reproducing with a regular human. They're currently out in the world, trying to live their life while hiding the powers they inherited from their mutant parent. Unlike their other generation, their abilities are weaker, yet their bodies can handle it long before it Overcharges. HBs are more powerful than the average human, and there's a slim chance that they can win against a FB in combat if they play their cards right. The HBs are aware of TBIS and what they're doing behind the scenes, so they avoid using their powers unless it's dire. They don't want to attract the attention of the people in the white coats as it could cost them everything. To clarify, they're weak power-wise, but their bodies can handle it much better.

Eerily, they're rumors of TBIS working on a new generation, but it's still in the works. Whether true or not, the gossip alone is enough to set the two generations on edge.

A second explosion happened in a testing center on a remote island hidden by TBIS, with the center holding all of the FB mutants. A few mutants did escape, but it resulted in many casualties on both sides. Those that survived managed to make it to the mainland of America, trying to find a place to hide and away from the laboratory that kept them in cells. While on their travels, they encountered the HBs, with a few aiding the escaped experiments into lying low despite their lives being put at risk for doing so. To lower the risk of being exposed due to being in a large group, the mutants are separated into two teams who will travel on different paths to throw the facility off their backs and goals to achieve victory. Luckily, the explosion weakened TBIS and gave the mutants time to plan things.

Group A is filled with the strongest mutants, being the decoy to keep TBIS off Group B's trail while they handle their own thing. Group A is tasked with attacking and freeing other mutants still trapped in facilities worldwide. Indeed, this group is tasked with the more dangerous side, and many casualties will occur for them, but it's a sacrifice they're willing to make for the future of mutants. Right now, Group A is settled in Miami, Florida, hiding in abandoned warehouses.

Meanwhile, Group B is roaming away from human civilization and lying low in the wilderness. They're the safest group considering they're hiding away from other humans, yet they lack the manpower to defend themselves if an attack occurs. Their task is to help train other mutants to use their abilities and provide loners or freed mutants a haven to go to. Currently, Group B is settled in the wilderness of Alaska and dwelling in an abandoned farmhouse.

1. Character abilities may evolve/mutate, but it won't be until later on in the RP. The current power limit is a maximum of 5. Later on in the RP, the limit will increase to 10.

2. To make this more fun, only two characters may have the same powers. For example, if two characters have ice powers, then no one else can give them to their characters. This is to add diversity to everyone's characters.

3. Everyone's powers must have a weakness. I'll allow somewhat OP powers to an extent, but as mentioned before, they must have a weakness. Also, keep in mind that others may have abilities that can weaken your characters' powers.

4. Keep a balance between Full-Breed and Half-Breed mutants. Once it's completely or somewhat balanced, I'll allow anyone to create whichever one they want.

Powers:
Blood Manipulation
Can create, shape, and manipulate blood in humans or animals. She can shape their blood into tendrils or trap opponents in a prison of blood. However, her method is covering her blade with blood. A singular slash of her blood-blade can drain the blood from her victim's body to heal grievous wounds. Of course, they're some cons: if she uses her blood, she can pass out or die if she uses too much. Another is that she can't openly create blood out of thin air, requiring a source (animal or human) to use it.

Evil Empowerment
She can become stronger, faster, more durable, etc., if she comes into contact with evil and malice from herself or others. However, she may lose power if placed in an environment that has no evil energy.

Evil Aura
Kamiko's aura is filled with the essence of evil, which may influence malicious activity by coming into contact with it. Although, she tends to hide it and only reveals it if she needs to intimidate someone. Still, this ability can be beaten against those whose aura is full of goodness.

Pain Resistant
Unlike most others, Kamiko is highly resistant to pain and can keep doing other activities despite her severe injuries. This doesn't mean she's immune to it, just resistant.

Katana Proficiency
Through thorough training, Kamiko is a master at wielding katanas, but it can also be extended to other Japanese swords such as the wakizashi, chokutō, tachi, ninjatō, guntō, and ōdachi. She can take on multiple opponents at once, deflecting incoming physical attacks and countering back with skill and finesse. She can wield multiple katanas, but she prefers to use only one. With her knowledge of katanas, she possesses a deep understanding of them inside out, knowing when to strike to optimize their full potential without breaking them in battle. The limitation to this power is that she would face difficulty against those with an extended reach, like an archer or a spearman, considering the reach advantage they have on her.
