Hondo was stalking his prey. He could smell it really close now. Sneaker his Beta and Harbor were close at his flanks. They were going to bring back food for the pack. Maybe now Bloom would notice him. He blushed at the thought. Through the undergrowth he could see a white tail flicker. He smiled. There it is, that deer is beautiful he thought. He turned and nodded to his Beta and Harbor. They turned, Harbor to his right and Sneaker to his left while Hondo went up the middle. The deer hadnt noticed them yet, and was still grazing peacefully. Hondo barked loudly, his bark echoing off the trees. Harbor immediately jumped on the deers flanks. Pushing it down with his weight. Sneaker attempted to bite the throat but missed, instead striking the shoulder, causing him to bounce off, and he flew in the other direction. Hondo raced towards the throat and pounced. Sanking his bite into the deer's throat. Immediately the metallic and sweet taste of blood poured into his mouth and across his muzzle. He saw that Sneaker had gotten up and had lunged at the shoulder. After a little bit of tge deer struggling, it finnaly died. Hondo released his grip, and licked the blood off his muzzle. "This is a mighty feast we can bring back to the pack." He told his hunters. "Now lets take this feast to them." They picked up the deer and started to go back to camp.

Bloom was laying down on a smooth rock waiting for Hondo and the others to return. She and the rest of the pack were getting hungry. Meanwhile Valtor was a lone wolf and he to was looking for scraps of food or what's left over from other pack of wolves that went hunting. As Valtor was sniffing around looking for any type of food he catches a scent of a freshly killed deer and decides to follow. Unaware that a pack of wolves that had already killed it.

Hondo, Sneaker, and Harbor were walking back to camp, dragging the deer with them. I might even be able to impress Bloom thought Hondo. Even as a Alpha, Hondo still didnt have a mate. Suddenly Hondo heard movement. He pricked his ears, stopping in his tracks. Then he scented it, another wolf.

Bloom can sense food nearby the Alpha and his hunting team have came back I hope Hondo impressed me this time." Since she didn't have a mate either. Until she picked up another scent and this one was another wolf.

Valtor was eating small pieces of meat that had dropped along the way. Until he stops smelling the pack of wolves that he was following along with the deer carcass. He decided to stop in his tracks and hides in a bush. Hopefully that will work?

Hondo turned around snarling. He Could tell this was an older wolf, but he hadnt learned well. He could pinpoint his scent into a bush. "Come out right now," he said feriousiously, "or die."

Valtor heard the voice from one of the wolves he knew how to fight but not that well since he was a lone wolf his whole life, he decided to come out from his hiding spot. "I'm Valtor and you are?" He said with his tail slightly up.

"How dare you speak to me like that Lone Wolf?" Hondo said fuming. A snarl escaped his throat. His eyes were flaming. He bared his teeth, ready to pounce.
