vox,
oh I thought you'd've played more XD then I won't spoil you or anything
I'm on Act 3 and I have like 3 quests left but the act 3 monotony has just made me not want to beat the game, act 1 and act 2 were peak and then act 3 is just too much freedom of choice all at once and it's overwhelming (for me at least)
when I started playing I thought I'd love Karlach, and I DO, but she doesn't love me back, so instead Gale won me over and I'd love to do a Gale run where he romances Astarion because that's a canon ship in my opinion XD

oh yeah Us is silly, I left them behind on my first run though because I was thinkin they're creepy
I've yet to play with mods though I'm keeping it vanilla for now and I don't have much time to play anymore either

I would have more time on the game if not for deployment and then me procrastinating like crazy

Karou,
Ah. Yeah, so I haven't played this game much lmaoo

I haven't gotten through Act 1 yet. I played, then got mad at myself, annd procrastinated playing until now. I just restarted (downloaded some mods since consoles finally get mods now).

I currently don't have a favorite! I do miss my brain friend from the ship though, I don't know why I enjoyed that thing but I did xD

04:05:32
vox,
you just open the map and warp elsewhere, that works for me but when I co-oped with friends they kept saying that it doesn't work so I don't know, maybe it's different for everyone XD
but real shit, who's your favourite companion?
 Voxtexy
04:04:22 Vox
Karou,
I decided to not promise to drink the poison and she resorted to battle. I just knocked her out and then realized I was trapped lmaoo

I can go to camp, but when I leave I'm right back in the same spot I was in prior to that.
 Karou
04:03:19
vox,
i didn't even know that and I have like 100 hours on it, this game has so many secrets I can't :'(
you can't go to camp from there? whenever I rob someone I just instantly go to camp, but I can't remember if the druid grove locks you in until you physically leave

Karou,
I got stuck in Nettie's room lmaoo

Supposedly she is supposed to have something you can loot from her that can open it, buuut it was 100% not there. Soo I had to load my most recent save xD
 Karou
04:00:13
vox,
BG3!! what room did you trap yourself in? even in my HORRIBLE first playthrough I didn't get stuck XD (i just lost all the companions and accidentally killed the tieflings because I went to mountain pass)
 Voxtexy
03:59:20 Vox
Playing BG3 annd I just locked myself in a room, effectively trapping myself.

I swear if the most recent save sets me back more than 10 minutes imma cry lmaoo

I`m a bit confused as to what thread bumping is. I know that just quoting something or saying little to no words is bumping but i saw a post that made me confused on what it actually is.

is making a post with a couple sentences and not just a few words on a thread that went off page 1/from years ago bumping or not?
On a suggestion thread, is just saying support on one thats off the front page bumping?
I`m asking for clarification and answers to the above questions. I know the basics of thread bumping.

Bumping a thread is when you post something just to put a topic at the top.

Honestly, I saw the same thing and am a little confused too.

On all other sites I've been on, bumping refers to the original post creator [or sometimes other users] commenting something like 'bump' or 'up' to put the thread on the front page.
I've never seen it refer to posting on an older suggestion thread.

Necroing/posting on dead threads shouldn't apply to things like suggestions - I thought that only refers to posting on old roleplays something along the lines of 'Wow I miss this' or 'this is dead' without the intention of actually reviving and revamping the thread in a meaningful way.

I can see why responding to a question from 3 years ago might be seen as bumping/necroing, but I don't see how adding feedback to a suggestion is.

I'd also love clarification on this.
[Just to make it clear, I'm not trying to criticize anyone or anything, I've just also posted on old suggestion threads as it was something I found via searching before making a suggestion. I'm not sure if there was perhaps another post that was removed or if I've misunderstood anything - I'm just trying to make sure I understand properly so I can avoid anything that breaks the rules]

Exactly! Especially with suggestions. We try and make sure there aren't any duplicates--so when searching through the suggestions forum to suggest things and you find one that is similar/the same to the suggestion you were thinking of, it would make sense to post your support on that thread since it has already been made?

Yes! And mods tell you to post on the original thread even if it`s dead. When i wanted to make a suggestion, i looked to see if there was any other suggestions and then made my support on the original thread.

I cant answer your first question but to your second question, saying support is okay because you are telling the person you support them.

Supporting old threads is perfectly fine.

As for your first question it is both not allowed and allowed. It depends on lots of reasons like why the person is making a post, or who is making the post and what the post says

Not to mention.. you can be bumping something without saying something along the lines of 'bump' or 'up'

Alright, thank you.
So just to make sure I understand, it's posting with the intention of bumping to the front page that's rulebreaking?
Which is how I understood that rule to be.
