For premium member upgrades, if you were to choose den slots as a specialty, what would happen to wolves in the temporary slots when you lose the spaces? What happens if you don't have mush for familiars to eat and how much do they eat?

For your first question, you would keep your wolves, and you would go into negative den space. You wouldn't be able to get any more wolves until you get positive den spaces again.
How much mush the familiars eat depend on the type of familiar, but they range from around 2-25 mush. The familiars aren't fed automatically, there's a button for you to feed each one. So if you don't have the mush to feed them, you don't have to feed them.
