What is the use of the div tag?
I remember being able to create colored boxes with borders and what not on other websites using the div tag, but can that work here? If not, what is its use? |

It doesn't really do anything usable for you.. So you can ignore that. There is some backend coding that does stuff with it. But from a standpoint of creating new posts, it won't do anything for you.
