Character A is the daughter of a wealthy and famous family who birthed celebrities and successful business owners for years. With this reputation, their family is a target of many seeking to take everything from them. As such, most of their children under 18 are kept in the safety of their homes, shutting them inside until they're old enough to fend for themselves.
Meanwhile, Character B is living the opposite lifestyle. She's the child of a crime boss, aiding her in developing her skills for dealing with crime. Her family has sired fearsome and infamous criminals, with many well-known criminals related to her family. To ensure their family lives on with their reputation, children at 16 have to do a small job to prove their worth.
B's tasked with stealing an item from A's mansion. It almost succeeded until she was caught, luckily by A. The two hid in A's room and waited until it was safe for B to leave. During that time, the two developed a strong friendship and agreed to keep spending time with each other secretly. Over time, A developed feelings for B, but she was unaware of her friend's growing affection.
One fateful day, B's family was killed by a rival gang, with the leader a former second-in-command of B's father. Hearing the news spread through gossip, A grieved the death of her darling friend and crush, and her heart grew cold towards anyone that dared to try to befriend her. Well, until one day when she entered a cafe and spotted B alive, sitting at a table. She vowed to keep B safe from harm. So, A hired B to become her bodyguard.
A has become a famed celebrity and owner of her father's business, while B has become a personal bodyguard and trusted friend to A.
