Welcome one and all, to Tettelerian Academy, a school unlike any other. You, as well as six other students have been chosen from all around the world to study at our unique school in the Appalachin Mountains. We have taken into account your Grade Point Averages, your afterschool activities, and the general opinion of your peers and have deemed that you are indeed suited for this school! We promise you, that you will not only gain a family here, but insight into the world around you. We will change the way you see your home and daily lives, and we will make you appreciate everything you have and more!

We hope to see you come this fall! The school has a variety of different classes you can take, as well as its own set of dorms, both boys and girls. We have fun games and an indoor swimming pool, and if you don't like swimming that is fine! You can relax at our dayspa, or you can join your new friends at the movie theatre! This is a magic based RP that takes place in modern times. No one knows of the existance of magic, save for those who have attended Tettelierian Academy. You and six other students arrive at the village like school on September 24th, and are immediately whisked away to the dorms. The rules are explained as such;

Rules:

1. Lights out at 10:00pm

2. No contacting anyone outside these walls

3. Wake up at 7:00am

4. Attend all your classes on time. No exceptions

5. Bullying will NOT be tolerated

6. No telling ANYONE what you learn while at the school

7. Do not, under any circumstances, open your windows or doors after 10:00pm.

You will be assigned a stone on your first day and told to take it with you wherever you go. You can put it on a necklace, bracelette, put it in your pocket, it doesn't matter. As long as you have it on you at all times. It is not explained to you why, but you must.

The Stones

1. Blue- The blue stone is round in shape and about 2 inches in diameter. It is always warm to the touch, like its been laying in the sun for a while.

2. Green- The green stone is teardrop shaped, and four inches long. It carries with it the fragrance of freshly cut grass, and seems to be oily all the time, no matter how much you wash it.

3. White- The white stone is diamond shaped, and the person carrying it can often hear music playing somewhere in their head.

4. Silver- The silver stone is shaped like a sliver of ice, sharp at one end and rounded on the other. It is softer than it looks, and tends to change shape at random.

5. Black- The black stone is oval shaped and the size of a quarter. It tends to disappear randomly, even if the carrier can still feel it.

6. Yellow- The yellow stone looks like its been carved into the shape of a star, 4 inches long from point to point on all sides. No matter what you do, the stone will always be cold to the touch.

7. Red- The red stone is shaped like a hollowed out triangle, and seems to move like water when in contact with skin, anything else and it is rock hard.

Sexuality: Demi-pansexual. But he doesn't know that, he just thinks he's straight and picky, or just too stressed for romance or dating. He makes up excuses to avoid talking about his nonexistant love life.

Appearance

Jackson appears as kind of a tough, intimidating guy. He is quite tall, standing at about 6'1, but with the undeniably gangly, long-limbed look of a kid who hasn't quite grown into his height, and weighs in at around 145 pounds. His body shape is an unremarkable rectangle, strong and sturdy, with a good amount of muscle, but nothing obscenely bulky or showy. He has dark oak-brown hair, short, almost buzzed on the sides and a bit longer on top. His hair is naturally wavy in texture and often looks ruffled and unkempt, even being cut short. He has dark, expressive hazel eyes, with mixed shades of brown and olive green. His skin is tanned from long days working outside, and his hands are rough with calluses and scratches. He has a few scars but nothing lifechanging by his standards - a nick on his shin from falling on broken glass, a reasonably sized chunk off his forearm from a dog bite, the usual. He doesn't go out of his way to hide these, but doesn't show them off either.

His clothing style is pretty basic. Solid colored t-shirts (usually white, grey or some shade of maroon/green/blue), a grey bomber jacket and jeans or khakis - no fashion statements here. He usually wears tennis shoes but likes boots too - workboots, the type that nails find it difficult to pierce if you step on them. He has a fascination with the more business-y style of dress - ties, button-up shirts and dress pants, nothing overly fancy - because he thinks it makes him look grown-up. But usually he doesn't get the chance to experiment with this more clean-cut style. He wears his gem on a simplistic but very secure woven cord bracelet, made of black leather tied fast around the gem.

He has a resting angry face - dark eyes, a drawn expression and a reserved posture - that definitely don't make him any easier to approach. However there is almost never any malice or violence behind his eyes, more uncertainty and caution than anything else.

Personality

The first word most people would use to describe Jax is "dutiful". He is one of those guys who works tirelessly behind the curtain to make sure everything goes well, and is deeply loyal and dedicated to those he cares about. He gives off the energy of a kid who was forced to grow up and develop a sense of responsibility very early on in life, no-nonsense and very mature for his age. Many think of him as some stern, intimidating blank-slate workaholic, who keeps his head down and doesn't talk much. Which is a fair assessment. But under that steely, hard-working and reserved exterior is a much more soft-hearted, kind and gentle person, deeply devoted to the ones he loves and willing to take in any small, vulnerable creature he comes across. He is a very loyal person, who would risk his life for those he loves in a heartbeat, and is very selfless. He is the kind of person who works tirelessly behind the scenes for others to get the praise and recognition. And he's cool with that. He is a very responsible and caring person, and often neglects/minimizes his own needs for others. He has gotten very good at hiding his feelings, though it's never perfect and his front still breaks sometimes. He is a very genuine person, for better or worse, and rather oblivious when it comes to things like status, social presence and how he comes across to other people. If he says something, it's his honest opinion, not meant to flatter you or hurt your feelings.

Jackson appears to handle responsibility and pressure like a pro, keeping everyone in order and making sure everyone under his protection is safe. But if he chooses to open up to you, or if you just observe him closely for long enough, you'll begin to realize that this guy has some deep issues with anxiety, instability and insecurity. He protects those he loves so fiercely, keeps track of everyone so diligently, because the world is dangerous, cold and cruel. And he often feels like the only thing standing between his loved ones and the terrors of the outside world. Which is a massive responsibility for anyone, let alone a 14-17-year-old kid. He has major trust issues with anyone outside of his "circle" and is very slow to let anyone in, or to take control in his place. Despite taking on a leadership role, he is not a natural leader and would be happy to take a passive role under a more strong, confident person. He wants security and stability, gravitating towards people who give off confident, relaxed, secure vibes.

Overall he may come across as uneffected, cold, emotionless, and even controlling and dismissive when you first meet him, it is all a clever mask hiding his extensive problems with control and paranoia/anxiety. If you can get to know him - not as a rival or as another person for him to take care of, but as an equal - you will find a very warm, genuine, honest, attentive and loving person who would do anything to make sure you are safe and happy.

Stone

White. Although it seems like it would get annoying, the music is actually very calming to him. It is soft and peaceful, and he gets anxious when he can't hear it.

Jackson was brought up in a very instable and dangerous environment, and had to care for his little sisters from a very young age (hence all the anxiety problems mentioned earlier.) They ran away from home when he was 15, Sylvia was 12 and Rose was 10, and have been living on their own ever since. He was not enthusiastic about the idea of leaving Sylvia and Rose all alone to go to some crazy school in the mountains, but it was such a good opportunity that they all but forced him to go. So here he is, hopefully it doesn't turn out to be a waste of time. Indigo

Appearance

Elwynn is a strikingly beautiful creature, pure silvery white in color with warm, dark amber-brown eyes. He seems almost ghostly at times, moving with an unnaturally light and swift gait. He has the unmistakable gangly, slender build of a young colt, seemingly about 70% leg and 30% everything else. His mane and tail are short like a normal colt's, a slightly darker shade of grey, with the same silvery quality to them. He stands at about 4'3 from the top of his head to his hooves.

Personality

Elwynn is youthful, joyful and childish, as free-spirited as a bird, endlessly curious about the world and always open to new friends and playmates. He is rather different from some of the other guides, taking the comparatively vulnerable form of a young colt - a symbol of innocence as well as freedom and spirituality. He is endlessly curious and very affectionate towards Jack, but he still needs protecting (a task that falls onto Jackson's shoulders, which is convenient because he's experienced at protecting little ones.)

However, despite his apparent naiivete, Elwynn is far from stupid. He learns quickly, picks up on external cues quickly, and knows how to get himself out of trouble. And he holds an innate wisdom, peace and openness that Jack could definitely learn from. Where Jackson can be controlling, anxious and suspicious of new people and situations, Ell is receptive, adaptable and playful, going through the world like an interesting adventure rather than a dangerous wilderness. They may come to find that they balance each other nicely.

Aegir has a diamond shaped face. Which means he has a wide cheek bones with a narrow jaw and brows. He has his mothers emerald green eyes. He has wavy medium black hair that ends on his shoulders. His hair does tend to frize up from the humidity in the air.While working he keeps his hair pulled back with a piece of leather and a piece of crimson red ribbon that he commonly braid into a strain of his hair. For his body build he is a mix of ectomorph and mesomorph. Which means he has a lean body shape and can gain muscles easily along with weight. So he has to watch what he eats. He gained his fathers height instead of his mothers standing at 5’11. His skin is naturally a fair color but most of the time his skin is sun kissed from being out in the sun all the time. He talks with a laconic kind of voice. Meaning that he is straight to the point and uses a short amount of words at a time. He does have a bit of a british accent that can be heard when he’s angry or extremely excited over something.

During the times when his skin isn’t sun kissed he has a light smear of freckles across the bridge of his nose and cheek bones.

For clothes he can be seen commonly be seen a wearing a white or cream colored linen shirt. And from time to time eathier a plain black or red shirt.Every now and then he will wear a blue or black waistcoat over it sometimes buttoned sometimes unbuttoned. For pants he wears a pair of light brown or black ankle banded breeches. When it comes to shoes he wears knee high black leather boots or he simply goes around barefoot. Around his waist he wears a blue sash that is slightly frayed.

Personality:

He is morally a mellow kind of guy. Big arguments conflicts aren’t his thing but that dosen’t mean he won’t sit in the back and watch it unfold. Being the center of attention isn’t something he longs to happen but he does seem to get himself into weird situations. At times especially when he is lacking sleep he can be quick to anger or physical aggression mainly on objects and not people.

He dosen’t believe in sugar coating things he thinks you should be straight to the point and get it over with. So if you can’t handle the cold hard truth then I highly suggest you don’t ask him anything that might hurt you. Sarcasm is like a close friend of him. He will always use and never expect him to not use it.

This stag is tale a beautiful. He has ruggged antlers that hase three tines. His anters are forty-two inches tall. Oak has a beautiful brownish yellow shaggy coat. On his under belly and legs he has hints of chestnut. His tail is black with the bottom being white. Oaks hooves are a natural shade of black.

Personality:

This creature isn't afraid to fight if needed. But if he can avoid fighting he will. He's rather layed back and calm. Oak can always be seen taking in his surroundings. Always watching for something bad or interesting to happen so he can try and keep it from escalating. The worst case scenario is something he always he'll think about given the situation that alastair is in at the time.

Oak is smart and creative always willing to try something new. He's always finding ways out of bad situations which could help out alastair alot given the problems he gets himself into. He tries to find solutions to a fight rather then sitting back and watching. He's sweet and kind and dosen't understand why everyone must be so harsh with eachother when kindness goes a long way.
