Tamar - M - 11 - Mention(s): // ~ Tamar lifted his head at Sky's words. Escape? How could that be possible? He heard Sky's words, but internally, he just... didn't know. Tamar had only been stuck in this hellhole for two months, but it was already evident in him. He heard Sky's words, but instead of filling him with hope like it would have the old Tamar, he barely felt a spark. But then... he could leave. Get out of this place. Maybe breathe fresh air. He didn't know. But while it didn't fill him with hope, he did have a little spark in him. He didn't really know what they'd do exactly. But while he didn't trust the scientists at all, he did kind of trust the others who were in cages around him, and were all older then him. If they think that we can get out, so will I. That was Tamar's resolution as he looked up, properly, at everyone else around him.

Aileen / F / 13 / M: Ace, others (indirectly) As they moved forward through corridors that seemed endless to Aileen, her heart was racing faster and faster. She tried to hide it, but inside she was terrified. They would surely make her turn into wolf and that was going to hurt... a lot. She had been in that hell for three weeks, in the uncertainty of not knowing what would happen to her, or if she would ever be rescued. Her parents used to be there to support her whenever she felt scared or insecure, but now she was practically alone. The other kids? Well, she hadn't talked to them much during the day, not all of them seemed to be open to conversations, and in a way she understood them, I mean... it's not like being in that situation could bring out the most sociable side of someone. For a moment she wondered how they hadn't gone totally crazy after being there longer than her. Suddenly, the girl saw the guard in front of her stop, and did the same. They had arrived at the laboratory. The guard quickly opened the door and entered the room, pulling the chain and bringing Aileen in as well. "We're bringing you subjects 2 and 7," he said firmly as he approached a corner of the lab. The guards put another heavier chain around her neck, and another around her ankle, which was quite tight, and then they were secured by the scientist, putting their respective padlocks on them. Both chains were hooked on two metal rings, the one on her leg was embedded in the floor, and the one on her neck was a little high in the corner behind her. Once they finished securing her, the guards removed the chain from her wrists and walked away, heading towards the door. Aileen rubbed her wrists to relieve the pain caused by the chain. The girl looked at the scientist and noticed that he was watching her and writing something down in a notebook. Nervously, she looked away at Ace, observing what was happening with him.

Ace - M - 13- M:Aileen, Sky Ace smiles as he walks into the lab but it looks more like a hospital than a lab." Hm." He looks around trying to find the keys he saw last time, they were leading him to the regular room they go to. He hears the guards but ignores them just focusing on the spot he sees the keys in. He knows he can't ask Aileen for help which was frustrating on his part because that would mean he'd need to fight off two guards by himself in the process of getting the keys. The guards tell him to shift, he does without giving them a hard time mostly because he needed them to think he's being sweet and everything. He yawns and flinches at the pain in his legs and his torso where they always put the shots. He whines but stays still as the put a needle in his side and start taking blood samples and he starts thinking about the plan. A few minutes later they're done and starting to take him to the other room for the procedures they want to do on him. While they were walking to the procedures he snatched the keys without them knowing. They start talking again." Do we have him go back to the sell Doc?" The doctor nods and they lead me back,he makes sure he still has the keys as they lock him up in the cell and go to leave. He smiles and takes the keys out of his pocket and shows them to Sky as the guards shut the door." Got them." Edited at December 12, 2024 04:55 PM by Nesta

Aileen / F / 13 / M: Ace Aileen watched as Ace was chained up and the experiment on him was pretty quickly, and once it was over, she saw that they had begun to remove his chains. Suddenly, the scientist walked towards her, diverting her attention. He began to prepare everything and took a blood sample from her right arm. Once this was done, he said to her "Subject 7, I need you to transform." Oh no! This was what she didn't want to get to, even though she knew it would be inevitable. She had no choice but to obey, turning her human body into a canine one and letting out a moan of pain in the process. Once transformed, that sharp pain from the beginning diminished, leaving a slight discomfort that she was already getting used to. The scientist proceeded to take the blood sample from her wolf form and then went to a table that was not far from her. Aileen watched as he placed the samples in test tubes, and even saw how, while trying to take one of them, he almost knocked the others to the ground, however, he was quick and caught them before they fell. While he continued with his work, something else had caught Aileen's attention, something that had fallen to the ground during his maneuver, but which he didn't seem to have noticed. The girl (now a wolf) looked at the small object more closely. It looked like a dart, maybe the guy kept it in case he had to sedate a test subject? Now, the scientist had gone to another table a little further away, turning his back to her. Aileen looked at the dart again. "Maybe..." she thought, and trying not to rattle the chains too much, she stretched one of her paws as far as she could, trying to reach it. Her paw almost touched the dart, but she had to stretch a little further... "Yes! I got it!" she thought. As she carefully picked it up from the ground with her mouth, the scientist quickly turned around, and she almost swallowed it in fright, but no, and se was quick enough so he didn't notice. She just hoped she wouldn't have to open her mouth for the rest of the experiment. The scientist approached her to inject something into her shoulder, and as he did so, she was thinking if it would be okay to do what she had in mind: sedate the scientist. What if she condemned herself for this? What if the guards find out? At that, she heard a door open, it was the guards. "Are you done, Doc?" one of them asked. "Yes, you can take her to her cell now" the scientist said as he walked to the table. "Damn! I missed my chance" Aileen thought with frustration. The guards made her transform again. She had to sneakily take out the tip of the dart to avoid pricking herself when she transformed and tried the best she could to not open her mouth, even with the pain, the rest of the object still fit in her human mouth. They took her away just as they had brought her, chained. Once inside the cell, and once the guards had left, Aileen spat the object out and put it under her cot, at that moment she couldn't think of a better place to put it, the clothes given to her by her captors didn't have any pockets. Well, she would think about it later. Edited at December 13, 2024 11:19 AM by Northwest Wind Pack

Sky/ F / 13 / M: Ace, Aileen, all IND Sky looked over at Ace as he showed her the keys. "Nice! Can you reach over and unlock your door?" She looked over and saw Aileen spit something under her cot. "Aileen? What was that?" She looked back as Ace shifted and tried to unlock his door. "Hey, Tamar, can you try and unlock his door, you have the best view of the lock." Sky stood up and walked up to the door, leaning on the bars. "Is everyone good on the plan? The guards will notice they cant see us on the cameras so we'll have to be quick. Once Ace finishes with his door we all go out the main door, let me go first so I can show y'all where the tunnels are."

Ace - M - 13- M:Sky, Tamar He turns toward his iron bars and reaches out listening to Sky but focusing on unlocking it." I got it Tamar no need to waste your time on this one thing." He gets the door unlocked after a few tries and quietly opens it, knowing from when the guards open the door that it will freak. He gets out because of his skinny body without the door creaking." Got it. I'll open everyone else's." He starts with Sky's then goes to Aileen, Tamar, Aurelian. Lastly he looks around making sure he got everyone. He yawns not getting much sleep but also not wanting to slow anyone down." Let's go Sky they'll find out soon enough." He whispers to Sky and looks towards the others and nods then looking towards the cameras

Moose | M | 16 | M: Sky, Ace, Aileen Moose’s brain swims a tad as he watches everything happen, and similar to watching a coyote chase, many moving parts leave him lightly confused even as he watches. The two return; the boy- Ace- has something that flashes in the sterile lights as he reveals it from his pocket, but Moose finds himself distracted by the girl, Aileen, spitting something out that he failed to catch a glimpse of. Tensing up just a bit more than he would have liked, Moose inhales as he blinks hard, resetting himself as he takes in everything a second time. Keys- Ace had keys. That was good, he hoped, as long as they were quick with them. Moose’s breathing evens out. Sky pipes up across the way and Moose almost startles, realizing Ace had set to opening doors just as he notices he’d become distracted once again, the sudden flurry of movement after so many days of low activity getting to him. Anxious, Moose shakes out his hands as he jumps to his feet, eager to get moving. He stills himself, pulling a flat smile across his face that narrows his eyes ever so slightly, brows pressed together. Gods, it had been too long since he’d been home- his sore spine helped none of his longing for his soft, warm comforter. Nonetheless, he shifts his stance, regarding Sky. “We’ll follow your lead, then?” He comments softly, nodding towards Ace in agreement. Exiting his cell, Moose releases a breath he had yet to notice he was holding, and he bounces on the ball of his feet as his tight smile loosens, upturned, waiting for Sky to take the lead as she’d mentioned.

Aileen / F / 13 / M: Sky, Ace The black and brown haired girl heard Sky's question right after hiding the dart. She hesitated whether to tell her or not, but when she had decided to do so, she saw that the girl's attention had been diverted to Ace, so she looked at him as well, seeing that he was trying to open his door with a key. "How...? When...?" she thought, a little confused at first, but then she assumed that maybe he had taken the keys at some point after he had been tested. After that, Aileen heard Sky's words. She was glad to know that they had an escape plan, and although she was not aware of it except for what the other girl just said, she noticed that Sky seemed to know very well what to do, so she decided to trust her. "I'm fine with anything that allows us to get out of this place" she answered her in a slightly low voice, smiling. After this, Ace opened her cell, and before leaving, Aileen took the dart that she had brought with her. "Maybe we'll need this" she thought. Tamar - M - 11 - Mention(s): // (ind: Sky)
~ Tamar didn't really pay attention. His spirit was flickering. Not until once his cell door unlocked with a click from the outside did he properly process what was happening. They were... getting out. Those words felt foreign to him. Even though he had only been stuck in this prison for two months, it didn't change much as to what he had gone through. Because at the moment, all he could process was the the cell door was open. And there wasn't someone coming to haul him out. He was... escaping. While it wasn't like he liked being here... he had never exactly processed what Sky had said. His spirit wasn't in good shape. All he could do really, hoping it wasn't a dream, was to stand up. Go to the cell door. And step over the invisible line that had always been there, marking the extent of his world for the past two months. Seeing everyone else out of their cells. He really hoped it wasn't a dream. Or else that the little ember of fire inside him that had been rekindled by Sky's words would go out again, even darker than before. Aurelian Rosaun // 16 // M // Mentions: Ace, Sky,(ind) Maya (dir) Aurelian wasn't quite dozing off but he sure looked the part. Lying on the floor, hands over his chest, his golden eyes sliding closed. He was still breathing and seemed content where he was. He had been listening to most of what had been going on around him, keeping track of this and that. That was probably part of the issue was the fact that they had all conspired something to do together and blah blah blah. Personally, he was more interested to see how far they'd get before he was actually involved. He briefly heard the girl--Sky call out something about fighting guards and swearing. What an edgy wannabe. He wasn't going to say he was going to stick around the moment they got... out-out and away from the bus... but he wasn't going to deny it either. At the moment, he was in this whole thing just to get out. The brief jangle of keys caught his attention slightly. The doors began to squeal open as Ace unlocked each one. He let out a small noise and rolled to his knees and then to his feet. While the rest of them ran one direction, Aurelian was headed the other direction subtly. He needed to snag bus keys. Aurelian was relatively silent as he stepped out of the cell and watched the others. He clicked his tongue, flashed a little thumbs up and a finger gun to Sky and Ace before slipping into the tunnels to head toward the main offices. Since he, being the so-called 'idiot' as they said, had gotten a full tour before getting thrown in mock-jail, which ended up being actual jail, he knew exactly where the office was. Some summer camp this was. The tunnel was long, boring, empty, mostly empty. And it really wasn't until he got to the office that he hesitated and held back. There was a brief noise from the guards as they finally noticed the escapees. Contrary to popular belief, they did not take the tunnels and instead went down the hallways. Aurelian slipped into the main office and glanced around, snagging the bus keys which were conveniently marked on the keyring and turned. A secondary door caught his attention. A bright red button... right there. Mostly out of his own curiosity, the young man stepped up to the doorway and peered inside. "What--what the..." his eyes narrowed briefly, more confused than anything else. That was not a wolf. That was a jaguar. Screw it. Maybe it'd go after the guards too. He tapped the red button, let the door unlock and pushed it open. "You're free to come with us if you want," he spun the keyring around one finger, "or go on a killing spree. Either or is good with me."
