Sky-F-Mentions: Ace, Moose - Sky sat up on her bed, rubbing her arm. She had some tests done just two days ago that had left angry red hives on her right arm. She hadn't done much other than sleep this past day but had to get up because she was thirsty. Standing up, she looked around at everyone else. Noone seamed to be doing anything, Sky could see that Moose, her testing partner from the other day, also had hives, but his were on his leg. As she stood up and shifted to her wolf form, she gasped from the pain that came with it. Shifting had become much more difficult in the past months. She slowly padded over to the water and began to lap at it. Just then, the door to the main building creeped open to reveal four guards. Two people, she thought. Two guards came for each person, one to retrive and chain the subject and one to keep them from escaping. She stopped drinking and looked over at Ace. "We have to do it today, we can't wait any longer. I can't stand it!" She backed up snarling as the guards walked past her, heading straight for Ace and Aileen.

Moose | M | M: Sky Steel frames rattled softly as Moose tapped his feet idly against the concrete ground, one hand bracing himself on rough, durable nylon as he leaned back on his cot. Vision gazing around without any specific focal point, Moose was lost in thought as he thumbed the material of his shirt, the rough seams obnoxious against his fingertips. On the topic of obnoxious, too-bright fluorescent lights buzzed overhead and cast the area in a sterile sort of light as Moose avoided looking too closely at the overheads- especially the camera he tended to ignore. Moose zoned in for a moment, glancing up as he heard footsteps on concrete, though he quickly glanced down again before he could react or otherwise draw attention to himself. Mentally, Moose drifted away. He had to wonder what his siblings were up to – something he found himself thinking of often. Were they alright? Well of course they were, he convinced himself, but Moose couldn't find something better to do than worry himself about it. His foot tapping quickened, matching his gaining nervous energy and eventually catching his attention. For a few moments more he let the tapping go on, grounding himself, before stopping as well as releasing the fabric of his shirt. Pulling his legs up onto the cot, Moose scooted back against his coarse pillow, glancing across the way at Sky, who’d been tested alongside him only a couple of days ago. He rubbed at his arm at the thought, scratching lightly at his skin- hopefully he’d be laid off from testing for a bit after that one...

Aurelian Rosaun // M // 16 // M: Open The sterile white walls and awful attempt at white light of the cell were familiar at least. Hauntingly so and, quite frankly, boring now. After almost three whole months of seeing nothing but the same stupid walls, the same unending routine and whatever... he was kind of bored of the whole thing. With wasn't terribly surprising in the slightest. The young man had his feet up on the cot, lying on his back with his hands over his chest and gazing up at the ceiling. Same old... same old... He missed his clunker car. Sure, he had cracked a few knuckles on it--and spent a few hundred already on spare parts. But it was fun to drive and it was a great way to spend time. While others avoided the camera, Aurelian was far less... subtle. It was at least once an hour that he gave the camera a bird. Often times, he'd just stare back at it... and flip it off. They hadn't seemed to care but it made him feel at least a little better. He hardly seemed to care at all, looking back at the camera... and gave it another bird. One day... one day... it might actually get a reaction out of whoever was behind the lens of the camera. At some point... maybe. But if not... eh. It was fun for him.

Tamar - M - 11 - Mention(s): // (ind: Ace) ~ Tamar sat... quite disconsolately on the edge of his cot, not entirely paying attention to the comings-and-goings like he usually had. For such a young fellow, two months stuck in this depressing place certainly was taking a toll on his spirit. The younger Tamar would definitely not have been just sitting on the edge of his cot, idly scratching a injection site on his right forearm as he blandly looked around, seeing the same surroundings that he had for the past two months - walls, walls, a door over there, table, camera, and literally nothing else. Tamar briefly glanced out his door slash window of communication to everyone else in the block. He could vaguely see Ace's form in the room opposite, but then turned away. Really, his spirit was quite crushed. They may have been potentially whispering about some "escape plan" quietly, but while the younger Tamar might have accidentally screamed it out loud, this Tamar... didn't really know what to do. So he kind of just sat there. Not really doign anything nor was he paying attention that much to everything that was going on outside.

Aileen / F / 13 / M: Ace Aileen was quiet, sitting on the floor, with her back to the wall. Her legs were bent and her chin was resting on her knees. She was staring at the floor, having nothing else to do. Suddenly, she heard the sound of a door opening, putting her on alert. She raised her head to look at the source of the noise. Four guards entered the place where she and the other 5 kids were locked in cells, hers being one of the closest to the entrance of the room. Her pulse started to increase when she saw that two of them stopped in front of her cell and one began to open it. Aileen stayed in her place, she knew what that meant, and she didn't like it at all, but she couldn't do anything about it, because she was sure that it would only make things worse for her. Once the guard opened the door, the other one entered the cell. He had a chain in his hands, which didn't look comfortable at all. The guard approached Aileen and roughly chained her wrists together, then yanked on the chain to get her up and out of the cell. She looked back as she heard more chain sounds. It seemed that the other guards wanted to chain Ace, too. Aileen looked at te guard in front of her again as she was led out of the cell room, hearing the other one closing her cell and closely following her right after. Ace - M - 13- M:Aileen, Sky Ace was quiet, watching the guards coming in and out. He knew that he may be called in soon to be tested, he just didn't know when and if he had time to talk. But after a few minutes of contemplating he noticed a few guards come up to Aileen's and his door. He stands up ready to leave and get new intake on the place. He looks towards Sky's outburst and smiles." Soon it will happen. Just wait Sky." He knew he'd be chain, hated that he'd be chained but he didn't have a choice. Not like he could fight anyone right now. One guard chains him the other guard locks his door and follows closely behind. He hears the guards talk and he frowns when he hears them say." He knows the drill. With how long he's been here he knows what happens if he doesn't listen." As he hears the guard he gently shakes his head. The thing is he didn't know what happened. He never knew what happened if he disobeyed orders. He's always been a quiet kid and not really a kid who's a troublemaker. Therefore for where he was right now he didn't really mind it, he's lost track of how many times he's been tested. How many times they've taken him to see his wolf form, how many months, years he's been in here. He's the type of kid who listens but is non-verble and rarely ever steps out of line and talks back because of it. Edited at December 8, 2024 06:03 PM by Nesta

Sky-F-Mentions: All Sky waited until the guards had left and shut the door. Shifting back to human, she sat on her bed so the cameras saw her back and curled up to look sad. "Alright I need all of you to listen up, Ace and I have been working on a plan to get out of here. Before the rest of you got here, there was an accident, another expiriment escaped. The scientists moved us into some underground tunnels and knocked us out, but I think I know how to get there." Readjusting herself so her legs were hanging off the bed, Sky continued. "So here's the plan, Ace can grab the keys and run back, he'll have to knock out the scientists and guards so it might take a second. Then we unlock the doors and all make a break for it, they cant stop us all. We can go to the tunnels and get out that way, they lead to the training yard. After that we dig a hole through the fence and run. We can grab a car or bus., they wont chase us because it will look suspicious." She turned so she could see everyone. "Are you all okay with that? Does everyone know what they are doing?" Suddenly a thought crossed her mind so she continued. "Oh, and be prepared to fight any damn guards that get in the way." Moose | M | 16 | M: Sky, minor other mentions Taking an idle glance at the hives scattered across his legs and wrinkling his nose, displeased, Moose pulled them closer to his chest and wrapped his arms around a knee as a voice piped up across the way. He’d had his head hung down while the guards had come, dragging the two mentioned kids, looking anywhere but the corridor where the two kids had been forcefully taken away, but now he gave a half-look nervously at the camera, controlling his expression as best he could before gazing across the way at Sky. Moose’s - metaphorical, at the moment - ears perked up. A plan? He leans gently on the bars, focusing on her voice as she explains her thoughts. His eyes trail back down to the cot, tapping against his hand- a nervous habit brought on now through excitement- as he thinks for a moment. “I’m.. alright with that!” He pipes up, quiet at first but quickly growing more confident as a small smile grows on his face. Suddenly, the chance of escape felt more tangible - they had a plan! An actual plan! Moose’s shoulders dropped, tension leaving the majority of his body as he thought of getting outside- of fresh air! Anything aside from the sterile, dusty air he’d nearly grown used to. For a moment his heart dropped, though, at the final piece from Sky. While he’d scuffled with his siblings plenty of times, and had the discolorations and knicks across his skin to prove such, that was wrestling- fighting, on the other hand, was not Moose’s strong suit. He could utilize his wolf form, but the small boost of agility he gained from that form was barely worth the pain, not to mention he truly hated the thought of using that form as a weapon - just as they’d wanted. Well, he’d wait and see. If that was what it would take to escape, to finally leave this sterile, bright place? He nodded to himself quietly- he would do what it takes.

Maya Prescott | 16 | Female | M: Open The young girl sat in the corner of her confined room with her eyes closed and humming to fill the silence that always comes after. Maya eyes opened staring at the same four white walls that have claws ranging from human to her animalistic side. Maya stood up letting her fingers glide on the wall feeling the indents of her claws in the wall. Maya sat on the bed with her hands on her hand keeping a trained eye at the door. Her eyes would slowly drift to her tally marks from her fingers that she made. It took up a whole wall, but Maya lost count after 100 days. But she never stopped trying to understand the ropes of staying here day in and day out. The metallic door slowly opened causing her eyes to narrow, staring at the two guards and nurse that came in. She watched as they kept conversing with each in small whispers trying to figure out how to deal with her. She heard the gruff male guard stammer“Test Subject 1, p-please get off the bed. Turn around and Stand with your arms behind your head.” Maya tilted her head at the request as she smelled and saw the fear dripping off him like snow melting in the hot sun. She reluctantly agreed, making a sudden movement watching the three flinch away from her. She turned around from the three with her hands over her head. Maya heard them hesitate to draw near as they put a tray of food on the bed and something else on the bed. She stood tapping her foot getting impatient and angry for their time taking quite forever. Maya heard the door shut and she turned around. She murmured “Thank you to the nurse.. Not those airheads.” Maya paced around her room trying to clear her head or trying to distract herself from the anxiety and overwhelming fear of feral nature coming out. The food made her stomach growl and it made the beast scratch to come to the surface. She grabbed the sides of her head letting out loud screams to try to push back this animalistic side. All day and all night was an internal turmoil from two sides of her scratching their way to be seen and be themselves. One is her humanity and one is the abomination that she was supposedly gifted with from these monsters keeping her here. Each day was dragging longer than the next and the primal urge to kill and stay as a jaguar was growing stronger. She has pushed back from shifting scared each time she will shift, she would never return as herself, a girl, a human girl. Her hyperventilation began to begin that made nurses and guards come in fear of something. She was placed on the floor as she thrashed in defiance from the sudden physical touch that she barely gets. All she heard was she needed to shift, her vitals were unstable, or the fact she needed to come down. “Subject 1! Shift please before we have to force you too. Your vitals are becoming haywire and you need to shift.” A nurse begged her profusely. “No. Go to Hell!” Maya screeched as she thrashed under the holds of the guards and nurses. As she was able to free a hand and with her overgrown human claws, she slashed the guard holding part of her down across the face. Hearing him scream in the sudden pain from her actions and her arm being pinned down again. She started laughing maniacally from the situation as she started to believe maybe her reality was being warped once again. “The wolves are not like this.. I mean she is a whole different species in her DNA.” A guard spoke to another guard. She let out an animalistic growl as she closed her eyes. She opened them and saw a nurse with a syringe to give her something. Maya then let it happen. She let the jaguar overcome her senses as she watched from the sidelines. Perhaps Maya hated it, but her jaguar was her only friend and perhaps that only thing protecting her. Her strength overcame as she shifted below the guards as she easily felt them jump off her. She turned around as her green eyes looked at each of them with the deadly glint in her green eyes. She watched as the nurses and guards froze as she planned her eyes on each of them. Every movement was traced as they all slowly one by one exited out of the room. With the satisfaction of their disappearance, she sat on the cold concrete floor as she groomed her paws and flicked her tail on the floor. She thought a joke to herself Solitary confinement..
