My grandmother makes Zucchini Bread, with her secret ingredient of apple sauce.
Though knowing her kids cant have any when she makes way too much and passes it out, (they cant eat nuts and she forgets most times)

My grandmother makes some killer spaghetti sauce. Starts cooking it some time in the morning until around five in the afternoon on low, only going back once in a while ta stir it. It honestly beats all the of the resturaunt spaghetti I've ever had. It's so good. *^*

my baba used to make banosh. it's a ukranian comfort food, corn porridge cooked in cream usually topped with cheese and fried mushrooms / onions. very good 👍 also- her varenyky ! they're kind of like dumplings i guess? Edited at March 3, 2024 07:42 PM by distant-lands

My grandmother way back in the day would make sauerkraut. You could smell it for miles. Not only that, but it was shit. Since she was an awful cook, my Grandfather took it up, and used to make this homemade Easter Cheese cake, Paskha, (I'd assume you might be familiar with it) and I now hold the family recipe.
