Id imagine the fire breathing organ might taste like a mix between the hottest pepers in the world.

I'd be down to try some dreki ribs though lmao

I feel like the organ responsible for helping dragons breathe fire would probably taste like Hot Cheetos. Never tasted fire, but that's what I assume it tastes like.

I`m a bit confused as to what thread bumping is. I know that just quoting something or saying little to no words is bumping but i saw a post that made me confused on what it actually is.

is making a post with a couple sentences and not just a few words on a thread that went off page 1/from years ago bumping or not?
On a suggestion thread, is just saying support on one thats off the front page bumping?
I`m asking for clarification and answers to the above questions. I know the basics of thread bumping.

Bumping a thread is when you post something just to put a topic at the top.

Honestly, I saw the same thing and am a little confused too.

On all other sites I've been on, bumping refers to the original post creator [or sometimes other users] commenting something like 'bump' or 'up' to put the thread on the front page.
I've never seen it refer to posting on an older suggestion thread.

Necroing/posting on dead threads shouldn't apply to things like suggestions - I thought that only refers to posting on old roleplays something along the lines of 'Wow I miss this' or 'this is dead' without the intention of actually reviving and revamping the thread in a meaningful way.

I can see why responding to a question from 3 years ago might be seen as bumping/necroing, but I don't see how adding feedback to a suggestion is.

I'd also love clarification on this.
[Just to make it clear, I'm not trying to criticize anyone or anything, I've just also posted on old suggestion threads as it was something I found via searching before making a suggestion. I'm not sure if there was perhaps another post that was removed or if I've misunderstood anything - I'm just trying to make sure I understand properly so I can avoid anything that breaks the rules]

Exactly! Especially with suggestions. We try and make sure there aren't any duplicates--so when searching through the suggestions forum to suggest things and you find one that is similar/the same to the suggestion you were thinking of, it would make sense to post your support on that thread since it has already been made?

Yes! And mods tell you to post on the original thread even if it`s dead. When i wanted to make a suggestion, i looked to see if there was any other suggestions and then made my support on the original thread.

I cant answer your first question but to your second question, saying support is okay because you are telling the person you support them.

Supporting old threads is perfectly fine.

As for your first question it is both not allowed and allowed. It depends on lots of reasons like why the person is making a post, or who is making the post and what the post says

Not to mention.. you can be bumping something without saying something along the lines of 'bump' or 'up'

Alright, thank you.
So just to make sure I understand, it's posting with the intention of bumping to the front page that's rulebreaking?
Which is how I understood that rule to be.
