Random art dump and a place for me to check my posts aren't broken before I post them
quick warning! I don't really draw gore or anything intense, but I do tend to have skulls/bones/spooky-ish elements in my art pieces. If that's something you don't like looking at, perhaps don't venture further! (: again, my art really isn't very intense but I know some people really do not like that type of thing, so I wanted to give y'all a heads-up in case. <3
i'm sure this goes without saying, but please don't take any of my art (that includes tracing, referencing, and outright stealing). (: none of this is for sale or for use. you can check out my auction thread if you'd like to buy art from me though! or stop by my free art thread, casino maraud! <3

lil raven dog/wolf/creature OC that I got stuck in my head and wanted to draw out (: had fun making him a little background too because I'm addicted to krita brushes. I am far too pleased about his name since it's a mix/blend/jumbling of vulpes corvum and canis lupus. it doesn't really make sense but I like how it sounds so :') also he has a very ferret-y neck and I adore it? kind of jealous won't lie, he's quite the n e c k lad. anyways time to add kane to the file of "oc's I will never be able to draw again because I made their markings too complex with ~500 layers" |

I sketched this funky little man today and had to toss it into krita to make a fun sketchy sketch piece. It reminded me of this comic book I read as a kid called Necropolis where this boy gets transported to like the undead realm? and he has a horse he rides everywhere that's a skeleton and their bond was so cute :') I remember it being a really thoughtful and cute book but anyways when I finished sketching this dude he reminded me of that cute lil skeleton horse so I wanted to make a wasteland type scenery to fit him. Also I decided to call this species "Skronk" (plural Skronken, i.e. wow look at that herd of Skronken goin' by) and they're kind of fancy little beasts of burden (hence his necklaces that he gets to wear while out grazing or just... sitting in the acid lakes for fun I guess). and yeah i really said let's blend two colors that should never go together: purple and green baby o3o because I just wanted to have !fun! and sketch and do whatever. it's also more lineless than I usually do which was intentional because I did not feel like inking him, just wanted something smudgy and silly lol Anyway! enough talking here is the lad

I've been in a little bit of an art funk where I just can't quite make myself draw, so anytime an idea comes to mind I try to sketch it out while I'm in the mood lol. I watched garett watts' new youtube video today about staying overnight in a haunted hospital (very spooky and funny, highly recommend), and he said that there's a superstition that cats hang out around haunted places to protect them or something. and I pictured a cat getting to hang out with some spirits that would pet it all day and just thought that was really sweet. :') hence this lil sketch. also played around with approx. 5,000 layer settings just for kicks bahah |
