Plot In a village once known for its tranquility, everything changes after a murder. This small, peaceful place, perfect for anyone looking for a break from the chaos of the world, was home to humans and supernatural creatures alike. The biomes, including a beach, a forest, and mountains, were all connected by a portal, and it had always been a place where humans and non-humans coexisted, even with some lingering old grudges. But when a human is found murdered, and the killer seems to be something other than human, the village goes into lockdown. Those who were near the crime, who fit certain descriptions, or who could be involved in any way are gathered together as suspects. They're moved into one of three large houses, each with four bedrooms and bathrooms, and told little more than they’re required to stay there while the investigation continues. Nobody knows the exact reason they’re there, just that they’re somehow connected to what happened. 𓆩⟡𓆪 As the investigation continues, things get worse. Every time a new murder occurs, more restrictions are placed on the village. The portal, once used freely to travel between biomes, are now monitored closely. Escaping becomes harder with each passing day, and while suspects are still allowed to move around, the surveillance never fades. The group is constantly under watch, but at least they’re not locked away completely. 𓆩⟡𓆪 The investigators, who are a mix of humans and supernaturals, are watching over the group, but one of them has been placed in with the suspects. This investigator, a human, has no idea why they’re there. They were only told about their job just before being thrown into the mix. They’re supposed to figure out who the killer is, but they’re in the dark just like everyone else. Meanwhile, the killer (who will be chosen once enough people are involved) decides the first murder. The first victim will be an NPC, but how they’re killed is entirely up to the killer. The killer can also choose up to two accomplices, and those they choose will have to be careful in deciding who to trust. 𓆩⟡𓆪 As the murders continue, relationships form and fall apart. Some people might turn on each other, while others might find ways to work together. The killer could gain support from the group, or they might be betrayed. The investigator, pretending to be just another suspect, might be pushed to the edge, unable to trust anyone around them. Everyone is hiding something, and the truth of who’s innocent and who’s not gets harder to figure out. Edited at January 31, 2025 01:31 PM by Salem

Rules 1. Eve's rules should obviously already be followed. If you haven't read the rules, you should've but here's a free link → Clicky 𓆩⟡𓆪 2. You can have up to 2 characters, max. You're limited to one supernatural and one human, for the sake of having an even split. You do not need to have more than one character though, so no pressure to do more than you can handle. 𓆩⟡𓆪 3. Reservations will last 48 hours, you can get a 12 hour extension if you PM me, though. If I've forgotten to unmark a reservation past 48 hours, feel free to try and take that spot! You don't need a reservation to submit a character, first come first serve situation. 𓆩⟡𓆪 4. Please mark your character sheet with WIP until it's absolutely finished. I won't accept anything until I'm told it's done, but I can give out a few pointers before you're finished so don't be shy to ask questions. I've had trouble understanding if someone was actually done before or still working, so please make sure you make it clear you're done for the final judgement when you come to me for that. Please PM me once you're done and ready. 𓆩⟡𓆪 5. LGBTQ+ is welcome here. If you don't like that, you shouldn't try to join. Along with this, if you become problematic in any way I will get a mod. 𓆩⟡𓆪 6. I'm the host. This means ultimately everything is up to me. But, I do love world building together so absolutely come to me with ideas! Just run it by me first before doing something crazy lol 𓆩⟡𓆪 7. Please reserve your own spot, if making a reservation. I won't accept things like "My __ wants to join so can you save a spot for them?" Nope, they can reserve a spot themselves and if they haven't even joined the game yet, well they have to do that first. 𓆩⟡𓆪 8. Have fun! Please include the words Wilted Rose in your 'Other' section so I know you've read the rules. Edited at January 31, 2025 01:46 PM by Salem

Reserve please, but I sent some questions :D Character sheet finished! Name: Rinley Gatwood (Rin/Rinley) Name Pronunciation: Rin-lee G-ah-t-wood Gender: Male Supernatural Type: N/A Appearance: Tan skin with curly mid-short dark red/orange hair, medium-tall. He has light brown-amber eyes, and a mole on his right cheek, just below his eye. He wears semi-formal, but comfortable, clothes. A dark red shirt with ruffled sleeves, faded black jeans, an accessory-type leather corset (one that doesn’t actually constrict him, more of a fancy belt), a grey visor with orange steampunk-style goggles, and shiny black boots with red ribbon laces. He is left handed, and often gestures as he speaks. Personality: An aspiring actor, Rinley has a tendency to be rather melodramatic and sarcastic. Though usually presenting a slightly false version of himself, he has moments where he cannot keep up his act, and he drops to a more tired persona. Though he may seem oblivious to others’ feelings at times, he has moments of clarity where his empathy can be seen. He can be rather impulsive, often not thinking before he speaks or acts. He shows excessive annoyance when he smudges his handwriting, or if his handwriting is illegible to others. Strengths: He, fortunately for this plot, is not easily disgusted. He’s very physically able, a skill honed by moving props around sets and balancing on boxes. He’s a decent climber, though I’m not sure this would be relevant. When he’s got his facade up, he can be rather charismatic, and generally likeable. Weaknesses: Ego/Usually only thinks of himself. He cracks under pressure and is easily stressed. He sometimes struggles to understand his own emotions, leading to frustration and anxiety. His impulsivity can lead to poor choices and impaired decision making. He can’t swim. He is insecure about the fact that he can’t swim. Affiliations: TBA Other: Wilted Rose. He has a loving sister, whose name is Ariani Gatwood. She is 2 years older than him, and much of his emotional stability relies on her wellbeing. He was put into small acting classes by his parents as young as seven, and wasn’t allowed to drop them. He was a rather energetic child, and still has a tendency to fidget. As he’s grown, acting has become so embedded in his life that he can’t imagine what it would be like to not act. His favourite colour is red, could you guess? Edited at February 1, 2025 01:35 PM by Phlame3
