1000 years into the future. Humans have almost destroyed the world. Clean water is getting harder and harder to find. What used to be lush, green land is now dust and scrawny weeds, and grass. Many of the species have gone extinct and the humans have abandoned the failing planet.
The warming climate has lead to extreme storms that are able to destroy buildings. The humans left behind their pets.
The animals have evolved by now though not that much. Their colors have changed and their senses have enhanced for some and weakened for others along with other small changes. |

Name: Persilla Age: 8 months gender: female species: cat personality: Persilla is a shy cat. She doesn't like to talk or meet animals that she doesn't know. She likes to play games and hunt the toys her humans used to have. Relations: - name: wisp age: 8 years gender: female species: cat personality: Wisp was born and lived as a stay for a few years until her humans took her in. She is rather aloof, cold and distant to most other creatures. She seems cold and untrusting when you don't know her, distant and uncaring if you know her a bit. She cares for those around her. Name: Emerson (Also known as Emmy/Em)
Age: 3 years old (Human)
Gender: Male
Species: Purebred Saluki
Appearance: Emerson is a- sort of- grizzled saluki, with darker gray fur on his back, leasing to lighter gray on his sides, and eventually reaching white on his stomach, though his is different from old breed of Salukis in the sense that he has brilliant neon green eyes, and his coat has the occasional- but hard to see- neon green speckle. He is pretty big, at 31 inches tall and weighs 61 lbs. He has feathered ears and tail.
Personality: He is pretty snarky and prideful. He will do anything to prove that he isnt affected by what others do. Being a show dog all his life, and always being on the top, he beleives his is very important. When the humans leave him, he will hold strong to the thought that they would come back for him.
Relations: He has a brother, though the runt scurried off when the world started dying. He also has his old masters pet bird as a friend, though it is quite annoying. Bit of info: He fancy. Other: :P ----------------------+----------------------- Name: Oakley (Oak, Oatley, Oat)

Gender: Male
Species: Grey Parrot
Appearance: Oakley is, well, gray. Gray feathers, grey eyes. But, in the dark, his greys illuminat and he looks almost white, but not quite. His wings are tipped with neon pink (dye, not natural-Emersons neon is dye too) and he has anklet-like charms on his legs.
Personality: He is very smart, but also is very dumb. Unlike emerson, he can do basic maths and such, as well as say many human words. He is dumb in a sense as he is just annoying and weird.
Relations: He has a bit of an obbsesion with his dog friend, Emerson, and wont leave him alone. Bit of info: He not as fancy. Other: :P intensifies |

Emerson & Oakley Emerson was freaking out. How could the humans just leave hm like that? Him. The 12 time gold medal dog. The best in the show industry. Left behind to rot along with the world. Emerson was sitting by the fireplace, which somehow was still running, though that may be because the robotic maid was still on and hadn't gone on low power. The machine wirred and clicked, cleaning up the debrise from the crumbling walls- the result of the earth shaking ever now and then- as Oakley sat on its shoulder. "You'll hurt your eyes doing that, dog." Oakley squaked, saying the word 'Dog' in an all too excited manor. "And why should I care. I obviously mean nothing, if I am to be left behind to die." Emerson said back, dramatically raising his paw. "First, your talking like Mr. Waterbottom (The head judge for the dog shows) and two, so what if they left you behind. Im still here!" Oakley said proudly. "Wow.... Great..." Emerson said. He sighed and got to his feet, walking up to the chewed and scratched front door. "We should work on this, eh? We need to get to flat ground if theyre gonna send ships back to get us." Emerson said. Without waiting for a reply, he crouched low to the floor and started knawing on the hole in the door. "Whatever you say, dog." Oakley replied, fluttering over." (Soryy bout the weird reply, see you!) |

Persilla Persilla crept in between the remaining rubble of a burned down house. She could feel the still warm ashes on her paw pads. She had found this place while looking for someone familiar. An old cat friend, a human. Almost anyone really.
A crumbling sound startled her. She instinctively crouched down with her ears flat. Warily she scanned the surrounding area. Nothing. It must have been some rubble falling down. Maybe.
Persilla sniffed the air there was only the scent of dust and ashes. there clearly wasn't anything here for her. time to move on.
the young black cat moved away from the rubble to look somewhere else. Wisp Wisp was on her own again. Her humans had left her in the house with an open window. Not realizing she had some idea of what was happening. This had happened before as a younger cat. Humans abandoning cats was common. Once she discovered they had taken a lot of things and she was alone for the day Wisp knew what had happened. She had leaped out of the open window to fend for herself.
now she was here. In the alleyway of an city. She was surrounded by boxes and trash cans. she was laying in a sideways wooden crate a human had dumped here. |
