His expression, however, morphed between concern and then confusion. How... had sneezing gone to laughing... to--what the actual stars was going on? There was no logical explanation for the excuse she had just tried to pawn off on him. His nose was crinkled, head tilted, eyes blinking and head reeling back as he tried to make sense of what she had just said. "Hang on--what? You said allergies, now you're trying to say you were... trying to not laugh... but that doesn't make any sense, I never said anything about--what the heck?" Layne finally watched her for a long moment. "What on earth are you going off about because I think I am either dreaming or somebody is tweaking." His hand lifted, rubbing his forehead. "And you shouldn't be on the table while in animal form, it's not sanitary." |

I stalk off, twitching my tail. Perhaps, he does not belive me. Laughing would be rude. But I am a tom boy. I turn out of the cafeteria and sink to the ground. It is not time to go to my class, but Layne is confusing. Putting my bag down, I curl up and pout. People. They never understand me. Where I have been. How it messed with my sanity. I head off to the gym. It has the best hidding spots. |

Liam & FinnMalcolm | 16 | Male | Summoning & Illusions | House of star| M: Alex, Layne "Oh yeah. Illusions." Finn said as he watched Alex hop up and scurry off, hopping up. His backpack was still in his dorm, along with Liam's. "I told you we should have brought them to breakfast." Liam said. Finn glared at him. "First, you never said that. Second, whatever. Let's go grab them. Bye, Layne." Finn retorted, waiting for Liam, who was somewhat struggling to remove himself from the table. "walking isn't that hard." Finn snickered after a little. "Make me summon a knife." Liam threatened, finally managing to get up without tripping over thin air. They walked side by side out of the cafeteria, into the cold hallways. Their footsteps echoes, as the hall was, again, empty for some reason. People sure liked food. -- They made their way to their dorm, unlocking and swinging open the door. "Euuuhhhg." Liam said, kicking aside a pile of dirty clothes from the side of his bed. "Keep your mess on your side." Liam growled digustedly. "Yeah, yeah, whatever." Finn said, plopping down on his bed. Liams half of the bedroom was prim and proper, the carpets vaccumed, and the shelves dusted, whilst Finn's was a pigsty. -- The boys both grabbed their backpacks, Liam quickly snatching a Lollipop from Finn's front pocket. "Hey- You little-" Finn said, grabbing at it. They grappled for a minute before realizing what they were there for. They packed up their bags and made their way to the door, exiting once again. They left down to different hallways after an uninterested wave. |

Enika Allie Talent // 17 // Female // Telepathy/Winged || Mention: Kalen - - THUMP! Enika rose up to full height as she dropped the bar in her final deadlift in her rep. The heavy weight made the ground tremble, and the metal plates shuddered against each other in a loud clasp. It bounced ever so carefully before falling still. The young woman’s chest rose and fell as she breathed in deep breaths, and sweat covered her forehead and limbs. She blew out a long brown curl from her face and moved aside a feather the size of her arm from her shoulder. Her large lavender wings were massive, taking up most of the space around her, though when she finished her rep, she allowed them to relax. No PR today… Humph. The woman huffed as she crouched down and began to clean up, taking the weights off either side and placing them back onto the racks with ease. Finally, she put the bar up, though she winced as a spasm flooded through her leg. Her falter only lasted a minute, and she was able to steady out and put the bar back into it’s place for good. Stupid leg. The woman lifted her chin and grabbed her workout bag, throwing it around one side of her body as she began to take large gulps of water from her water bottle. It was still early, the sun haven’t even risen yet, so Enika took her time trudging from the workout all the way up to her room. She snuck in, as not to disturb her roommate, and tucked the bag away underneath her bed before slipping into the shower and cleaning herself off. By the time she got out, dressed, and all fixed, she could hear people out and about just in the hallway. Hm. She took a long look in the mirror as she finished fixing her hair, and combed through her feathers to make sure they were laying flat. Even though it was just breakfast, she had to make herself look presentable. So she dressed like she always did; A white long sleeved formal shirt, topped with a dark brown, nearly black waist coat vest on top. She layered on various necklaces, rings, and bracelets, the belted up her dark brown pants. Once she was finished getting dressed, the woman grabbed her backpack and threw her glasses on her face as she strode down the hallway, all the way down to the cafeteria. As she entered, she breathed everything in, her wings slightly spread open as if demanding a silence, yet it was only due to the sheer size of them. The woman navigated through the heavy crowd and snatched a light breakfast from the line. Dang, I’m running late. As she looked around and took in the cafeteria a final time, she spotted a somewhat familiar face. Kalen, she guessed. She’d never really spoken to him before. So, she ventured forward and sat down opposite of him, staying quiet for a moment before she spoke. “Good morning,” Her voice was low and calm,” I’m Enika. You’re Kalen, correct?” She put her plate down, then sat her bag aside and began to eat. |

Layne took in a deep steadying breath, the type that lifted his shoulders and tensed up tightly against his neck before lowering again. He was calm. He... was calm. He was... going to have to make a report, include Kalen and have to deal with that. "What an absolute pick-me," Layne grumbled, watching the younger students leave. "Could she be any more insufferable?" His fingers lifted up, rubbing his temple for a long moment. His sapphire eyes flicked over to try and spot the Fire Lead and reluctantly spotted him toward the line with another older student. She, like him, sported wings along her back. Kalen Hemera // 17 // M // Fire Lead // Tigon Shifter // M: Enika(dir.) others (ind.) Kalen had been watching the Star Student Lead mess about with younger students and snorted with the expression. There was one thing he usually didn't do and it was hang around younger students. If he did, he was curt, civil and cordial but nothing more. Some of them were okay but most of them? Not a chance. His piercing green eyes slowly swiveled toward the line again. But it wasn't until someone sat down in front of him that he glanced forward and seemed somewhat surprised. The wings were a touch of a surprise, he would admit. But the student introduced herself after a moment of silence. "Kalen Hemera," he confirmed with a short nod, rubbing the back of his neck and flashing her a lopsided smile. "Student lead or something of the sort. Enika, it's a nice name," he moved his hand to push through his dark hair. "This your first year here or have you been around for a bit?" |

Silver Mar || 14 || F || Fire || Memory Magic || M: open Silver's foot flew out in the final kick of the unarmed combat pattern. She brought it back under her and took a deep breath. Her t-shirt was soaked in sweat from her training that morning, and her stomach was telling her quite firmly its opinions on the fact that she had not yet eaten breakfast. She sighed and grabbed her outfit for the day, black leggings and a light brown shirt, and headed to take a quick shower. She got through her shower in record time and raced down to the dining hall. She knew that it was better to be hungry than nauseous, but she didn't have to like it. Filling up her plate with a hearty breakfast, she went to sit down at a table in the corner. She did her best to put her back to the wall, but not trap herself. She ate quickly but somehow managed to avoid getting the hiccups. "What class do I have first?" she muttered to herself as she rummaged around in her bag for her schedule. "Ah, right. I have P.E. Guess I am already warmed up." She sighed and put her schedule away. There was still a bit of food left on her plate and she turned her attention to polishing it off. |
