Lucius, apologies for any bad blood I stirred up. Wasn't intentional but bro YES. Labs are so fucking cute. I assume the Lab is the service dog. I want a black Lab. |

Cypress Road, the bottom line is your dog cannot be a service dog if it's implicated in a legal issue where it may or may not have bitten someone. Your dog is not allowed to have 'boundaries' if it's in public and liable to be grabbed and stepped on. You said your dog raises its teeth at people when they pet its head and that you witnessed the dog blow off your recall and go lunge at someone. That is not service dog material. |

Ec Like I've said before as far as I know he has never bitten anyone and he allows my 3 year old sister and 1 year old nephew beat up on him all the time no issues. And has never had any issues with people when we are in stores. I've taken him to tractor supply, petsmart, and cal ranch all the time. |

Anywho I need to go to bed. It's late and I am sick and ready super tired cause I've been up since 5am and it's currently almost 1am. |

I doubt my dog would ever be a good service animal xD she is waaay too energetic and protective of me. Now my twins dog has the personality for it but he is a stubborn oaf :p |

Service dogs have to be hella tolerant. Kids grab up on them in public all the time. Add to that that you said you have seen your dog raise its teeth at people which is unacceptable behavior in a service dog and a work up to a bite. |

That's true though, I get what you're saying Cypress but your dog is just not eligible to be a service animal. :') |

He has never bitten anybody that I know of. Like I said, I didn't see him bite the guy but the guy is claiming that he bit him. |

Lucius, you confused me with saying the dog was certified + then saying the cat was also certified. I don't know your location so I can't make generalizations about your laws but I'd love to talk about it more? |

All you need for a service dog is a doctor note prescribing said service dog and only questions stores and stuff can ask is "is it a service animal" and ""what task are they trained to perform" any other questions you legally do not have to answer. |

Cypress So personality wise he sounds more defensive than aggressive, but still dont think he could be a service dog. Every service dog Ive met wasnt defensive in the slightest. |
