"Children betrayed their parents by becoming their own people." - Leslye Walton
Sonnet of a Warrior has a certain fascination with the talents which her parents possessed. She was immersed in them for so long, engrossed, wishing so badly to be like them. her mind often returns to that which they valued. Beauty, death, and battle. She longs to be a fierce warrior, and despises her own looks. She wishes she could change her own pelt. She's a fearsome thing, always willing to fight, always ready for a showdown. She can be excessively aggressive at times, and has no empathy for the simple reason that she was never taught any. She only ever knew blood-lust and destruction. She is incredibly loyal to her pack, though, and defends their honor fiercely. She's so incredibly proud of her pack. And yet there is some warmth there. She loves, and she loves hard. She enjoys pulling pranks - which sometimes border on dangerous - on her older siblings.
Sonnet of a Warrior, commonly know as Sonny, was born to two of the most respected and powerful wolves on the island. Her mother was Spear of Justice, an ancient wolf of renowned beauty and legendary fighting prowess. She had a stack of awards that she never looked at, was perfect at everything. She had a million children, and no time for any but the best. Unfortunately, Sonny never fit this description. She was sent at a young age to live with her father, Behemoth. He was nearly as old as her mother, and a horror to behold. This charming yet depraved wolf wanted nothing more than a horde of children at his feet and a horde of lovers at his disposal. Those pups who didn't please him were sacrificed. He was a harsh master, but had little interest in those mediocre pups like Sonny. He was just as beautiful as Spear of Justice, just as deadly, just as powerful. The two were playing a dangerous game, and it ended abruptly. Sonny didn't last long in her father's pack. Her older half-brother, a clumsy, bumbling thing, feared he she would be killed and proposed to many of the siblings that they escape. Most agreed, and thus they set out. Slowly, though, they were separated. Sonny ended up with her older half-sister, Mahogany. The two were discovered by their current pack, and their older half-brother recognized that they had the same father as him.
Sonnet of the Warrior adores her siblings. She looks up to Cerne, who reminds her very much of her father. She also has a distinct fear of him, though, for the same reason. She finds comfort in soft, sweet Mahogany, and looks to her for protection. She loves her pack very much, and is blind to many of the wolves' shortcomings. She wants nothing more than to be a part of this pack, fully and truly. She likes all of the wolves, though not as much as she loves her two siblings.
