I have an image from deviantart that id like to use (its my own drawing) but the day after I log back on it tells me it doesn't follow the crediting rules, I've read over it over and over and I don't seem to understand, can someone explain this? (in the original image I added my deviantart user in the pic, should I remove it?) |

Would putting the maker's site and username on the picture be ok? [It's a pawprint on purple with black background, and along the bottom I've written @ostrichwearingheadphones.tumblr.com in large clear white text, is that ok credit-wise?? The image is free to use for nonprofit, I asked the maker] |

LunarMoonClan-- think about it like movie credits. Credit the website and the user from the website you got it from. e.g. if it's someone from wolfplay, their pack number and Wolfplay would work: "#(IDNumber) from Wolfplay"
If it's from Deviantart, "{user} from Deviantart" works too.
Any format resembling the above would do as crediting. |

@Midnight Kingdom-- the credits should have "(c) your pack number". Since pack names can be changed, we prefer your pack number. |
