@Bison Okay I just read the five million words that's the RP thread since I left 6 hours ago Nikolai may think Sol is a bit of a jerk, but then we hate the character not the player. Regardless of how much your character embodies you in real life. Nikolai has some similarities to me in real life too in terms of personality - hell, if Nikolai was some social secluder or some wild wolf, I wouldn't even be able to write him, because I wouldn't identify with my character at all - but at the same time he's completely seperate to me. I do have some parts of my personality in him, but I acknowledge he's different. I take that into account when I write Nikolai too. He's similar in some ways to me just enough that I am able to see things from his point of view. But he's also different to me as to provide variation in the RP. (Also yeah... you kinda need to wait two posts before your next. Else it becomes a 1x1 in a group RP, which no-one really likes.)
@Nirvana Damn. Alari is one complicated character. That is one nice post :D
I might do another Nikolai post? Maybe, maybe not. I'm going to do some Exploring then finish doing stuff on WP, then I might.
Also since you posted some music, I think this'd suit the current moment in the RP quite nicely; |

Also I want to add on to Nikolai stuff. When you already have a character doing something and addressing people and then you make another post leaving and doing other stuff. It makes it complicated and well no one knows what to say or do. It's hard to keep up and then people want to leave cause they can't keep up with the storyline |

Also I would like to add. I genuinely am sorry for tonight for your pain. But also you just confused the heck out of me with your last post. I cannot do Eudora and Malakai together in a hunt cause that will just be confusing. And he is supposed to help at the beach. i thought Nikolai and Eudora and moth is supposed to help. i hate being picky but I can't even keep track what's going on with my own roleplay when things keep happening that are supposed to be on the down low and goo smoothly until after the ceremony like I already said |

I really don't want you to feel like Nirvana and I are ganging up on you on this issue, or we've decreed a temporary alliance against you in PMs (we haven't, by the way - I haven't PMed Nirvana for at least a week) but the points he raises are valid. It's like when I was saying earlier when you got Nikolai and Eudora to help you in the elk hunt - you didn't let me respond and instantly moved on. I forgive you for that so don't apologize please ^^ The point is, you didn't let me say anything. This is exactly what just happened, just on a bigger scale. Valdis said one thing. Then Sol interrupted them and said something. Before either Valdis or Alari got the opportunity to say a single word to Sol, he disappeared. Then he went to Aatya to say something. Nirvana probably got a bit confused, and got Alari to say something back to Sol - because when you wrote it, she didn't have a chance to say anything! - and then without letting Aatya respond, you dashed off to Eudora and Malakai. I'm sorry if it sounds slightly harsh (Nirvana I'll delete this is you want me to) but it's just something that I've noticed. You can't just dash off without letting us respond. |

@Nirvana This is a seperate thing to what I was saying above, but... what should we do about Eclipse? Because she hasn't had an RP post since the very beginning of the RP, where she went to try stalk Malakai. After that, I think partly because Dreams is offline for a lot longer now... Eclipse kinda disappeared. I don't want to kill her off - I've built far too much of Nikolai's RP and style of managing things around Eclipse and her personality, removing it would kinda be like removing the bottom card in a house made of cards (it'd collapse) - but what should I do now, really? Nikolai won't be able to find Eclipse because so far she's disappeared off the map without a trace, which will make Nikolai even more anxious and unable to concentrate, but I don't want to have to keep RPing looking out for someone who's gone off the map. I'm honestly just hoping at this point Dreams comes back soon, but what should I do about it in the meantime? Can you do a RP post with Malakai where Eclipse is mentioned in some way? Because else she'd have disappeared without a trace. |

I have to say I will post Malakai sometime this weekend. But if dreams is not back yet then we will figure something out. I hate to kick people that have not posted from the beginning cause if they get busy.
but I'll give them until Monday to get a post out. But you and I can pm them to get a post out or they will be kicked

I don't want to kick others either, but... I'd prefer if we could somehow give their characters to someone else to micromanage until they get back. Is that possible in any way? When I used to do Nation RPs some time ago, if one person went inactive, we'd substitute someone else into to micromanage (usually abbreviated to "micro") their country until either we found a proper new player or the old one returned. They would acknowledge that the things the micro person did might not necessarily conform to what they wanted, but... they went inactive after all. It's on them for going inactive. We just gave the country to someone else to manage, because we can't do this RP without that country being active. Can we apply the same principle here? Temporarily get someone else to RP said character until (or if) they come back? If they never do and we give up waiting, eventually it may be necessary to kill them off, but until then... is is possible to organize a micro of some kind? |
