I also wanna take this time to warn you all about the crush mechanic I added for the NPCs! It was something I tested out with Yore and Nanuk if you'd like to read that interaction at the Quest Board. When you behave extremely nicely or take an interest in the hobbies of an NPC like Torka or Scout, a coin will be flipped. If it lands on heads, the NPC will develop a slight crush on your character. From that point on, the interaction is entirely roleplay and up to you! You can be completely disinterested like Nanuk is, or you can try to start an actual relationship with them! You may also "break up" at any point. But remember that Glowmire has its own currency, so if you break up with someone in a nasty way they can price hike you! (They cannot refuse you service, though) Also, if your character ever leaves Glowmire, after a certain point, the NPC may develop feelings for another resident. |

I need therapy. I just squished a gnat cause it looked like a kissing bug/triatomine bug, and it wasn't flying away, but when I squished it, I saw it's wings. The poor gnat. 😭 I normally catch bugs and release them when I find them in my house, but I really thought it was a triatomine bug. 😭 |
