Hey fellow artists, I need some advice.

I've recently gotten into a new situation where someone commissioned art from me (by the way they have seen my art and my prices) and I started on it, got decently far but then they double checked the price, I told them again and they just then let me know that they have never had more than 300 or so nuts.

What do I do, what do you do in these situations?

I think the best thing you can do in my eyes. Give them a deadline for the payment. (I'd say 2-4 weeks at most). If they don't have the nuts.ooms/tomatoes then scrap their character(s) and resell it or use it for personal work (you can also just scrap it if you want)

Unfortunately it's against wolfplay's rules to take payment upfront (I think you can take it after a sketch but not fully sure - just make sure to have heavily watermarked until it's paid for)
