it could be used as a 'repellent' which would make weak predators more likely to appear than difficult ones
(cough cough- sunbears... if you just want a casual explore session and don't want to get crushed/have to heal) |

What is that stench? a) Your herbs are covered by the stench of the Elephant Dung, protecting them from herbivores for one game season. b) Your squirrels rolled around in Elephang Dung, covering them in the stench for 50 explore moves, increasing the chances of running into predators and acorns. b) Your squirrels smeared this around the nest entrance, causing relics and food inside to be better protected for one day; not stackable, not 24 hours but it will expire nightly at midnight like the Fishing Rod. |

👀 This is a wild take, but... Ever heard of mythbusters polishing some manure with the same process as Dorodango (which is usually used for ordinary dirt/mud)? It crstuff cheeksed a very shiny, perfectly round polished sphere. That's *shiny* What if you can craft it into a polished dung ball, and trade it to Bree for a chance at certain items, or in addition to your tomatoor bucket of junk trade-- and it let's you pick between three possible randomly generated trades instead of getting something totally random, and / or a "funny fail" risk that results in some kind of funny displeased reaction from Bree if she realizes what you're offering her? Bree is delighted over the unusual shiny sphere! Thoroughly distracted studying her reflection in it, she waves a paw at some items without even looking at them "Pick one of any of those," she tells you. You see three items to pick from. Which do you take? Or... Bree looks excited at first, until her face scrunches as she gets close to study her reflection. "Wait... This--?" she sniffs the shiny dung ball, then recoils. "This is a piece of shit!" She protests, offended, and drops the ball. It crumbles at impact. "All I'm willing to trade you now is some hand sanitizer!" I definitely don't have a fondness for bullying Bree... |
