Credits are copyrights/ credits to the person who made the avatar. Sometimes if the person used a lineart, you credit both the base-creator and the colorist!
Having it in your bio is having it in your Pack Bio, usually clear at the top for the mods to find easier.
Having it on your avatar is credits on the image.
Credits are a little '(c) personwhomadethis' usually.
