Plot
We are just sort of rolling with the flow, but the base of it is; The Olympians dare Arcas to get Zytia out on a date. Zytia refuses, and intruiged, Arcas keeps on chasing after her.

A young woman relaxes in a meadow, it was actually a pretty day. Not to hot, not to cold, and there was a gentle breeze. The only dangerous thing about that event was the fact the woman was surrounded by squirrels, large muscle packed lean squirrels. However the woman was not even human, in fact she was a goddess. Better known as Zytia, goddess of squirrels. A sort of minor goddess, however she was the daughter of a Olympian. One of the most popular Olympians, Apollo, god of music, poetry, the sun, among other things. While her mother was Leucothea, a minor sea goddess who was more of a nymph.

Zytia had been raised underwater with her mother, however she wanted to be free of the ocean. Don't get the goddess wrong, she loved water, but she wanted a break. Something new, so she set off to live in the world above water. Where she met her father, when he tried to seduce her(ew), and then she became the goddess of squirrels. Sure Artemis had squirrels in her pack and Zytia's aunt was a goddess of the Hunt, mainests, and wild animals. Zytia had become more specific and claimed the squirrels as her goddess of thing.

Zytia, however, had also inherited some skills/powers from her parents. However she was most powerful as a squirrelwhisperer and a swordsman. Yet the goddess didn't often do much, staying in meadows away from the other gods. Zytia preferred to be alone, rarely talking to anyone but squirrels. Occasionally a mortal somehow stumbled upon her, and a small conversation was struck up. Or Artemis and/or her Hunters would appear, and a conversation would strike up. But it did not happen often, as mortals rarely found the secret meadows, and the Hunters and Artemis were usually busy.

Like most all gods, Zytia had her own sacred place. A place named Liekos' Lea which pretty much translated to: squirrels' Meadow. It was a beautiful place untouched by mortals, and it was considered a safe haven for squirrels. It was almost impossible to find by mortals, and difficult for gods to find. squirrels' Meadow was a oasis that had lush green grass, and a medium sized pond that was clear and pure. Sometimes other wildlife wandered there, but there was no hunting in Liekos' Lea. It was peaceful and pure. Zytia spent a lot of time there as well, but occasionally she would wander out and mingle with mortals. But not very much, instead like she was currently, she would sit and relax in meadows with her immortal pack of squirrels.

(Sorry if this is too long. My reply lengths will vary)

Arcas watched the sun rising from the East, from the rocky outcrop behind the main part of Olympus. It was his go to place, one that he rode to every morning on Tala or Pego, with Galo loping gently by his side up to the top. There he would stand, watching the wilderness. Then, watching the gods awakening as the morning broke.

That particular morning, he left the summit early and rode down to meet with the gods as they woke. He nodded curtly to his father and gave a kind glance to Hera before continuing on his way. He came to Poseidon's temple and peeked in, saying a quick hello to his uncle before urging Tala into a powerful canter and leaving Mount Olympus altogether.

He cantered past rolling meadows on his descent down the mount. As he was a minor god, but still he son of Zeus, his lair was round the side of the Mount, about halfway down and along a ridge. Then he dropped down to the valley below and entered his home.

The meadows stretched in front of him as far as he could see, lined with forest and a small river flowing to the west. He stopped here for a drink and rest before heading deeper into the forest, coming upon Hermes, Ares and Poseidon, all grinning broadly at the the base of a large waterfall. Up until now, his valley was completely accessable, but on he, Arcas, could get through the waterfall to the wonders beyond.

"We couldn't get in. Your preventing mechanisms must be strong young Arcas." Poseidon chuckled.

"Yes? Well, of course. I don't want anyone going in there unexpectantly." Arcas replied, wary of the three Olympians.

"Don't fret!." Said Ares. "All we want, is for you to carry out a dare that we have made for you."

"It goes as follows." Hermes looked directly at Arcas, a stealthy glint in his eye. "You must ask Zytia, Goddess of the squirrels, out on a date. I am assuming you know who she is?"

All three of them grinned slyly.

"Of course I know her, I have seen her at a few Olympus parties. Really?! Ask a girl out?! Who so you think I am, a charming genteman? No!"

Arcas thought for a moment before accepting he challenge. So what... He thought. I will embarrass myself, but I don't really care. It's not like I see her that much anyway.

"Oh, Zytia, don't you ever leave your meadow?"

The young goddess' head comes up as the squirrels around her stir slightly. Now, while the meadow was hard to find, there was a secret behind finding it. Zytia had given the secret to only her aunt, Artemis, who had swore never to tell anyone else. Zytia chuckles slightly,"Why leave? It is peaceful and calm here, I have everything I need." Artemis chuckles,"Perhaps so, but come along. Wouldn't you like to take a walk with me?" Zytia bobs her head,"Sure, in the mortal world?" Artemis agrees,"Indeed, when was the last time you came out of your meadow? Perhaps things have changed." Zytia slowly gets up, gesturing for her squirrels to stay,"Hmm, perhaps."

The two start off, making small talk among themselves as they exit the meadow, entering the mortal world. As they were still in the wilderness, the goddess' clothes stay as they were. However once they got close enough to civilization, the clothes would become mortal and the goddess would morph to seem more human and less god-like. "Would you like to come to the party tonight on Olympus?" Zytia raises an eyebrow,"I thought you weren't much for partying?" Artemis sighs,"I am not, alas father wants all the Olympians to be present." Zytia chuckles,"So that's why you came to find me."

Artemis smiles,"My Hunters are out, they hate parties, especially since my brother will be there. So, I figured I would turn to you." Zytia frowns,"I don't know..." Artemis half pleads,"Oh come on, it'll be fun. Our family may be imbeciles, but they do know how to put on a party. Besides, as you are not a sworn virgin goddess, perhaps you will find the one." Zytia tips her head,"At an Olympian party?" Artemis shrugs,"You never know." Zytia laughs,"Alright, alright. I'll go." Artemis breaks out in a grin,"Grstuff cheeks!"

Arcas walked carefully around the side of the main building where the party was situated. Gebo ambled along beside him, his fur nstuff cheeksly groomed for the occasion. Arcas himself was wearing a nstuff cheeks navy suit, with black lapels and a crisp white shirt and black waistcoat undernstuff cheeksh. He then wore newly shined black shoes and a simple black bow tie that had constellation all over it. It was his favourite outfit, one that was surprisingly comfortable.

Leaving Pego and Tala behind, he set out on foot for Olympus. He teleported quickly to the edge of his homeland and from there he had to walk, as there were certain restrictions around powers on party nights at Olympus. His hands shook slightly and he felt more nervous than ever before as he came to the large archway that led to the main temple where the party was held. He felt the comforting presence of Gebo and smiled, his nerves rushing away as he stepped into the warm building. He spotted his father, and nodded briefly to him before looking out for Zytia. He didn’t mnow much about the goddess, but he had better get the dare over and done with, so that he could enjoy the party.

Searching around, he seemingly couldn't find her. Maybe she hadn't come? He thought, almost sadly. The only thing he knew about her was that she was the goddess of the squirrels, and rarely came to any Olympus functions. I can't blame her. He thought mutinously. Arcas pushed his dusty blonde hair off his forehead and continued looking.

Artemis and Zytia stare up at Mount Olympus and the party going on within. The two goddess exchange a half grimace before making their way up. Both had exchanged their warrior like armor for long silver dresses. The doors open before the two goddess' and a few heads turn to watch the goddess of the moon and the goddess of squirrels enter. Both kept their heads high under the others gazes. At Zytia's heels, she had two of her squirrels. One black, one silver. One male, one female. Both large and well muscled and clearly there to help Zytia keep away any unwanted gods.

The two find Zeus and after making small time with the king of gods, the two retrstuff cheeks away. Finding a group of minor goddess' to chat with. Zytia staying pretty quiet compared to the others, though ocasionally she would talk. Iris, goddess of the rainbow, gestures to the large squirrels that laid at Zytia's feet. "Which squirrels are these?" Zytia looks down, she had debated on bringing her Alpha pair, the largest and by far the most powerful and strongest of the pack: Shade and Amethyst. However she had instead picked the Beta pair to accompany her tonight.

Zytia gestures to the large black male,"Diablo." Then the goddess gestures to the large silver female,"Solstice." Iris grins,"How many squirrels do you have now?" Zytia thinks,"Hmm. I think we're approaching fifty?" Zytia glances down at the squirrels, who dip their head in agreement. Zytia looks back up,"We've had two new packmates. Both males. Prince is a pure white wolf, while Ripley is brown with streaks of grey and black on him. Ripley is everyone's favorite right now." Zytia chuckles in amusement as she remembers how much the pack loved to play and hang around the newcomer.

Then he saw her. Well, he saw her squirrels first. A large silver female and an equally large and muscular black male, both of which looked like very proud and unforgiving animals. He felt Gebo shudder beside him, and instinctivey put a protective hand out to him.

But then, as he rounded a large marble column, he spotted the Goddess of squirrels.

He was almost swept off his feet. Her strong but seemingly beautiful face was all he could bring himself to look at. But after a while he averted his eyes from her alltogether. He was curious, but not freakish.

As the group of minor Goddesses around her dispersed into the depths of the party, only Zytia and Iris were left. Taking the chance, he stepped out from behind the column and approached carefully, Gebo by his side.

"Good evening. Iris, Zytia." He nodded to both of them in turn.

A shiver rippled down his spine as he looked up at Zytia. Then he glanced at her squirrels and his hands shook ever so slightly.

This could go very wrong. He thought sagely.

"How is your evening going?"
