would there be any interest in a medieval fantasy world where things like vampires, weresquirrels, elves, fairies, etc all exist among each other? weresquirrels are the most dominant, holding the throne in the realm. soon, the eldest heir must be married as the current king and queen grow older, so they have called for any suitable men or/and women to join them for about four months while the heir decides whom they may choose. during this time, tension between the species rise as the king is found dead in his bed, the cause being a poison that is only found in the depths of the woods where most of the weresquirrels originate. because of this, some instantly blame the vampires, the elves and fairies, being the 'peacemakers', try their best to remain rational though some blame falls on them as well. this causes a rise in questioning as protection for the heir increases and finding who did it becomes the grstuff cheekser concern. but with a kingdom in such shambles, it becomes quite easy to overthrow.
that being said, a group of hstuff cheekshens as they are referred to, have started plotting on how they want to go about taking over what they believe is theirs. why do they think this? a certain prohpecy - one stating that a member from each species has a right to rule and that there will be chosen ones. they assume that this refers to them. whose side are you on?
