- Plot - In the aftermath of a huge earthquake, the city crumbles. Water is poisoned, the ground is covered in huge cracks, and even the air in some places is deadly. Buildings are destroyed, and there is little shelter left, especially since strange chemicals the humans left create acidic rain that stings the paws of any that touch it. This city, which was once a home, is now a cage of danger. The survivors of the earthquake, several species of wild dogs, cats, and other common city animals, are having a hard time in these conditions. Will they survive? And the more pressing question. What is there left to live for? - Setting - The city is large, and has a lot of puddles from rain. The weather is cold, and not sunny often, but there is no snow. Maybe a bit of slush though. There are a lot of big buildings, with broken windows and stuff like that. There are big cracks in the earth, and they are sometimes filled with a toxic yellow liquid. There are a lot of cords that have fallen from telephone poles and are still active, so there's danger from those. |

Rules (Follow all of Eve's rules, of course) - 1. Me and Broken Rivers of Ice have all rights to accept or deny your form. You have unlimited chances to fix it. - 2. Please have the forms be at least 6 sentences for personality and appearance. More is encouraged and appreciated. - 3. Pups may be orphans, but they a required to have a listed caretaker. - 4. Please be active <3 Post at least once a week. Your character(s) will be removed after 10 days of no posts. - 5. You may only have 4 characters, and only 1 can be high ranking. This may be subject to change. Reservations last 48 hours. - 6. No Weeping willows, Mary sues, none of that, please. - 7. Credit all images correctly. - 8. This roleplay is semi-realistic. No dogs with wings, or neon fur/eyes. - 9. Be nice :P - 10. Your character may die, as this is a survival roleplay. - 11. Rules can (and will most likely) be subject to change. Open to suggestions <3 - 12. There is a max of 4 wolf/ wolf hybrid dogs (4/4) NO MORE WOLVES/WOLF HYBRIDS- With an exception of Biologis at Works litters, because they exist now. - Again: NO MORE WOLF DOGS OR WOLVES with the exception of Felisha's pups. This is supposed to be a dog roleplay, with some other canines. - ALSO: NO MORE PREGNANT CHARACTERS. Save that for the roleplay. :P - The current wolf/ wolf dogs and pregnant sharacters are fee to stay though. |

Pack Activities Information - Howl Meet- Every week, the alpha and beta organize a pack meeting. All dogs except for pups and one mother (Who must watch the pups) gather at the family home ruins near midnight. The pack then proceeds to catch up with one another, talk, and spread news, before the dogs join together in a unified howl. After the howl, the dogs make their ways back towards their respected areas and dens. The mother that must stay behind rotates. - Feeding- Every evening, the hunters/scavengers pool their findings to feed their group. The patrollers, alpha, beta, and hunters are required to attend the eating event, but the omega is tasked with delivering the pups and mothers their food. The eating order is as follows: Alpha (and their mate/pups), Beta (And their mate/pups), Mothers and pups (Delivered to them by omega), Hunters/Scavengers, Patrollers, and then finally, the omega. - General Training Days- Every once and a while, the alpha will assemble all the patrollers and hunters/scavengers and the omega to go over and practice their skills. The alpha observes their patrols/hunts and tells them what they need to improve. These don't happen very often because there will be less time for actual hunts and patrols during those days. - Pup-school- Every day, the pups ages 5 months and older are assigned to go out with the patrollers and omegas. This includes every pup besides the alphas eldest heir, as they get trained by the alpha themselves. |

Role Information - Alpha- The alpha is in charge of caring for the pack. The alpha plans hunts, moves, patrols, and has many other responsibilities, such as scouting potential new territory and battling enemies. The alpha can be any gender and is not required (but is preferred) to have a mate and pups to carry on the alpha's line. The alpha rank can only be achieved if: A, you are the alpha's youngest heir, or B, you challenge and beat the alpha in a battle, or C, you are the beta and the alpha passes with no pups. Alphas and their mates/pups den in the large hill-house ruins, the ruins of a large family home atop a sloped hill, a bit farther from the city, though still in it. - Beta- The beta is the rank right below the alpha. Betas are there to help with patrolling and hunts, as well as step in when the alpha is unavailable. If the alpha passes without pups and doesn't lose to a challenge, then the beta rises to that rank and chooses the next pack member to be the new beta. Beta can also be changed if a bate loses in a rank battle with another pack member. The beta can be any gender and is not required to have a mate or pups. The beta and its mate/pup den in the side of the hill that the alphas live on, in an old shed behind the grand family home. - Patrol Dogs- Patrol dogs are tasked with scouting out the territory and taking notes of threats and hunting/scavenging areas, as well as potential den sights. They are the main fighters of the pack and chase off small threats like coyotes or cats and such. They are not allowed to eat unless completely necessary during their outings, and they are the second-lowest rank in the pack. They den closer and almost completely in the city, in the or in once was the city enterance. - Hunters/Scavengers- It's all in the name. Hunters and scavengers are tasked with hunting for the remaining prey, scavenging the ruins for food or useful plants/items, and sometimes scouting if patrol dog numbers are low. They are normally the fastest of the group, and the more agile ones, being able to dodge this ruin and that cord whilst on the hunt. They are even closer to the heart of the city. The dens being so spread out helps keep the pack from ever getting mass-murdered in a time of threat. - Mothers and Pups- Mothers and pups den next to the patrollers, since the patrollers are the ones who fight and they can keep the puppies and mothers safe. Only females can be mothers, but a male can step into the den to care for a motherless litter, or if he is crippled or not able to work but still able to babysit. The mothers are only the mates of patrollers and hunters, as the female mates of the alpha and beta den with them. - Omega- The omega is the lowest rank of the pack. Usually the smallest or weakest of the pack, the omega is tasked with cleaning the dens and waiting on injured or sick dogs. They are trained in herbs by past omegas and are technically medics. They have no real den site and usually switch between sleeping with the patrol dogs to the hunters, and sometimes with the pups. - Loners- Loners are animals that aren't part of the pack, but still reside on the territory. The pack is fine with this, as long as the loners aren't hostile, they can do as they please. Loners normally stay in the ruins of the huge buildings that once stood proudly in the city. - - Other Important Info Pups- Aged 0-10 months Mothers/Patrollers/Hunters/Scavengers- Aged 1+ years Alphas- Aged 2+ years ALL pack members are dogs. Most likely mutts. Loners can be: Birds, Foxes, Coyotes, Dogs, and Cats. |
