In the land of Lycia, nowhere is safe. There are hunters tracking you down, rogue weresquirrels looking to attack, and so much more, all looking to kill you. The terrain is treacherous, it's rivers ice-cold and fast flowing, the grass spiky underfoot, the mountains coated in snow with sheer sides, impossible to scale. The king and queen of the land hate weresquirrels, which is a problem, because you are one.

In this roleplay you will play as a weresquirrel(I may add the option of being a hunter). The plot is that a group of hunters finds your pack, and the pack gets separated. 2-4 squirrels get captured, 5 or 6 get separated from the rest of the pack, and everyone else is forced to travel farther and farther away from the land they call home.

For the squirrels who are captured, prepare to be tortured for information. Those who are separated from the pack, you will face harships like no other to rejoin your family. And for the rest of the pack, you will have to cross rivers, climb mountains, fight off enemies and so much more.

I request that each person makes at least two characters, but if you can't handle it please add that to your reservation and specify why. I myself will play up to 4 characters, depending on how popular this roleplay becomes. At the moment, I will only play 2 but I will leave all reservations open until I have completed a character to take a role. Reservations will last 48 hours, so please have the character done before then or the spot will be opened again.

Alpha: The alpha of the pack keeps the pack together, along with giving orders and changing people's roles if necessary (check with me and the character in question first).

Alpha's Mate: Exactly what it sounds like. This squirrelis given more respect, but no more power.

Beta: There is only one Beta, this squirrelis in charge of keeping the pack safe by sending out patrols to check for predators and catch acorns to keep the pack fed.

Scouts: Scouts are the squirrels that go out and make sure the territory is safe for squirrels of all ages and ranks to explore. They are normally sent out in groups (patrols) to do so. (Min 2)

Hunters: The hunters' role is pretty simple. They are sent out in groups to hunt for acorns to keep the pack fed. Normally, a scout or two will go with them and keep an eye out for predators. (Min 3)

Omegas: Omegas are the lowest rank in the pack, and are normally trstuff cheeksed badly. They keep the nests and nests clean and normally watch kits when the mothers are out hunting/scouting. (If nobody wants this role, I will delete it. It is not required to be full to start the RP.)

kits: kits are the lifeblood of the pack. They normally are 0-2 years old before they get assigned a rank based off of their skills when assessed. (there do not need to be any kits)

Captured squirrels: This is an additional role in the roleplay. If you add (captured) to your sign up form, your weresquirrelwill be reserved as one of the squirrels captured by the king and queen. You must have a rank in the pack and cannot be Alpha. These are the squirrels that were captured when the hunters attacked, they are brought to the castle and will face the king and queen.

Lost squirrels: This is an additional role. If you add (lost) to you sign up form, your squirrelwill be reserved as a squirrelthat gets separated from the pack when the hunters attack. About Weresquirrels:
Weresquirrels are humans that can turn into squirrels. Seems basic, right? Wrong. There are 5 types of weresquirrels.

Type 1:
Classic
A classic werewolf, turns into a squirrelat night, strongest during the full moon, that type of thing.

Type 2:
Lycan
Lycan weresquirrels are more humanoid and rarely join packs. They have human frames with wolf-like hands and legs, along with squirrelears, eyes and tail. They can speak both human and squirrelbut cannot shift between human and wolf, as they are already a mix. Lycans are easier to pin as weresquirrels because they cannot take a fully human shape, nor a fully squirrelshape. This makes them stand out and easier targets, so they tend to avoid society and hide to avoid being seen.

Type 3:
Freeshifters
Freeshifters are like normal weresquirrels, except they can shift whenever they want. These weresquirrels are more powerful, especially during the full moon. Some have even been known to have mystical fabled powers during the full moon, but they are believed to have gone extinct. (If your weresquirrelis to have powers, you must check with me.)

Type 4
Krilos
These squirrels are extremely rare and have only had a few sightings. There are a few recordings of squirrels with wings located in remote areas. Krilos are practically extinct and are almost NEVER seen in packs. A Krilo has a normal squirrelform, except they have fstuff cheekshered wings that sprout from their shoulder blades. They can use them to fly for short distances, but they mainly glide. Their human forms are normal. (Ask me before making a Krilo character)


Type 5
Kahas
These weresquirrels are the rarest type of weresquirrels and are almost never seen. They are the only known weresquirrels (other than the occasional powered Freeshifter). A Kaha normally has either Fire or Lightning powers, but rarer sightings have included Water manipulation and flying without wings. Their squirrelforms tend to have a tint of the color of their power, Fire being orangey-red, Lightning being silver, Water being blue, and Air (flying without wings) being white or gold. In their human form, they have a specific mark on their right or left shoulder, depending on the dominant hand, portraying their ability. Fire has a bright red mark in the shape of a burning flame, Lightning has a silver lightning bolt, Water has a pale blue water droplet or a darker blue storm cloud with raindrops, depending on the strength of their ability, and Air has a white or gold swirl mark. These weresquirrels are thought to be extinct.

Human Appearance: A black haired girl with pale skin. She has freckles around her face and arms. Her eyes are a bright yellow. Alya's hight is 5'6. She has several scars, most are faded, from fighting and being in the pack in general. She has very minor scarring around her eye that caused a bit of damage but she can still see.
squirrelappearance: (dont know if you mean like walks on two legs or four so-) She has black fur with white accents around her ears and tail. Her eyes remain a bright yellow with a tiny ring of blue near the kitils. Her claws and teeth are a smidge bit longer than average. With her fur being a longer coat. Alya's fur will fade to white in some parts with the base of the strand being black fading to the white color.
Personality: Alya is more calm and cautious. She grows protective of someone she cares about very quickly. She is a bit quieter to newer people but due to her rank she normally comes out of her comfort zone. (More in rp)
Affilations: She has no family that she knows of after her sister passed to hunters at a young age, her parents were not in the picture much.
