A small ways away, in a clearing in the trees, you see what must have been the little girl, ripped apart and strewn across the grass. Blood staining everything, even the red grass. Rocky As you emerge from the forest back onto the riverbank. A horrible sound brings you back to reality. That alarm... you hear it whirring in the distance, and instinctual back away from the river as it swells. Still pinned against the railing of the bridge. After what seems like ages, the water finally slows, and let's you flop onto the bridge coughing and hacking. You pull out at least 3 inches of Thorn before it finally tapers out and you can cast it far away, hoping not to step on another one. Chop. Chop. Chop. Chop. After a long while of cutting, you stop for a break and to check on your paw again. Making sure it was okay, you sigh and strech, looking up into the canopy. Theres... something up there!
