I squeak as I realize this kid is a shifter too. I scamper higher, realizing I can't escape unless I shift and not wanting him to know I'm a shifter. Also, what if he trys to eat me? Shifters often eat random stuff that they catch. |

I watch the squirrel climb higher and shift back to a human, gazing out to the festival. I find a nut aqnd place it in my hand before turning back around, holding it out for the squirrel |
