I know this thread is ancient, but my mind is blown that I get to be in this alliance. I remember vaguely scrolling through them all and stumbling upon this one, getting excited because it's an art alliance, before being intimidated away by the well known/art quality standards, hahaha. Anyway, Iruna, you're a queen. Thank you. <3 |

I'm glad you enjoy it here haha. I try to keep the standard a little higher mainly because it's meant to have some sort of prestige, although I'm pretty lenient with it |

Trying to revive a dead alliance. Just a friendly reminder that we do have an art tutorial thread here. It's also linked on the first post of this thread. . I've also done some minor changes. Anyone can post in here from now on whether they're part of the alliance or not. Yes, this means people can use this thread to advertise / talk about anything art related . On a different note, what kind of art tutorials does everyone want to see? |

From what I've seen, people seem to like anatomy tutorials.
Environment/background tutorials might be a popular one too as I think the majority of artists I see on WP have transparent/no backgrounds. I can't think of anything specific right now but things in that vein would be my recommendation :0

I'm trying to get it more active again but time will only tell if it's to any avail. I just thought it'd be nice if I was a little more lax about the alliance & its threads . Oo anatomy tutorials are always interesting. I might do some composition tutorials too. Do you know if real photos of humans are allowed (with blurred faces) for reference purposes? That way I can show what image I referenced on the tutorial?
. I might need to follow someone's environment tutorials because I'm guilty of transparent backgrounds myself aha |

Composition tutorials would be awesome.
I'm pretty sure they'd be allowed with blurred faces, however just give me a second to clarify something with Eve regarding human stock images :0
Update: Yes, this is fine. Provided the drawing is using the reference as a loose reference/isn't a portrait of the IRL person, it's fine. :]
I'm not that familiar with enviromnents but I do them a lil bit! I might be able to make a tutorial for that :0
