Finn worked to open 3 cans of food, wincing at the thought. 3 cans was so much food just for 4 people in Finn's eyes. He was so used to just 2, sometimes even one since both the girls didn't eat much. Finn being a guy, surprisingly didn't eat much either. He was used to eating last, letting the girls eat first. He sometimes let them eat more too if he wasn't starving. Sometimes, he would starve, knowing that Jinx and Aleria both had a full stomach was much better. Before he opened the third he glanced behind him. To his surprise, the male was now awake and sitting up. "Hey, you want food." Finn asked. He hoped he would say no like he did the night before. He took in a deep breath and held it, waiting for the male across the building to answer him. His jaw clenched and his whole body tensed up. Why was it such a big deal, they were learning to hunt and the girls had already caught rabbits. They were going to be fine, he told himself. Usually, Finn was the one reassuring the girls, but he never got reassurance back. He had to be the strong one, but genuinely he was close to freaking out about the food situation.

Raihn sucked in a breath as his fingers grazed over the tender flesh of his bruised and sore ankle. Fuck, even that hurt and he hadn't really been applying any pressure. If it wasn't broken he'd sprained it pretty fucking badly, bad enough he feared to be stuck here for god knew how long. A few weeks at least, maybe longer. The idea of being trapped in one place for so long had him feeling panicked, like a caged animal. He'd lingered only a week in the last place he'd been in, and even that, apparently, had been far too long. It was only when he heard the sound of the male's voice that he was pulled from his thoughts. Lifting his gaze to the stranger he raised a brow and glanced down at the food. Yes. "No, I'm good." He answered, ignoring the way his stomach seemed to grumble in protest at such a prideful decision. Let it. He'd already relied far too much on this guy and his two companions without adding food to the list of things he should honestly be grateful for.

When the male declined his offer, Finn exhaled with a relieved look on his face. He then turned his head around to the food and poured two cans in. He then regretted opening the second one because he wasn't that hungry. The girls would be pretty full that's for sure, or they will save some for later. He put the pot of soup onto the fire and got up. He then moved to set the cans near the water so they could get washed later. He couldn't be bothered to rinse them out right this second. He walked back towards the food before grabbing the ibuprofen bottle. The guy surely still was in pain, hell his food looked even worse in the daylight. The light shining through the many windows allowed him to be able to see as clearly as day. "Here, more pain meds. Take 'em so you won't be a dick." He said, popping two out of the bottle and holding them out in his palm in front of the male.

Raihn slumped back against the wall and bit at his lower lip. He was in some serious fucking trouble, that was for sure. What would happen if that cop and his goonies showed up here? There'd be no escaping. He'd been lucky enough to get out yesterday, to make it here, wherever the hell here was. He could practically hear the thundering of a fist on the door to the hotel room he'd managed to rent out, the demand to open up for police. It had been so early in the morning, so sudden and jarring that he'd woken from his sleep with a jolt, panic shooting through him, and eyes wide. The pounding had continued for only a few seconds longer, just enough time for him to race over to the window of his hotel room and throw it up. Then he heard the beep of his door lock opening, the sound of someone hurrying into the room. He hadn't waited a second longer and lept from the window to the ground below. It had been a fairly large drop and that, he figured, was how he'd first injured himself. Then, he'd spent the better half of two hours trying to lose the son of a bitch chasing him in the city before deciding that was a waste of time and booking it out here.

Just thinking about the events of yesterday had Raihns heart picking up its pace and beating wildly in his chest. He'd been so lost in thought that he hadn't noticed Finn approaching and so when there was suddenly a shadow over him and the sharpness of a voice breaking the quietude he jumped, his gaze flying to the male. He dropped his gaze to the meds in Finn's hand and pursed his lips in annoyance. "Oh thanks, Dr. Compassion. You're bedside manner is truly inspiring. Maybe next time try prescribing yourself some patience." He snapped in response while simultaneously snatching the two pills from the guy's palm.

The reply that the male had given Finn was well deserved, but for some reason it still made his blood boil. The guy in general made his blood boil. "You're welcome honey." Finn pushed out sarcastically. He closed the ibuprofen bottle as he began to walk away. He didn't need to stay there, Finn could quite literally throw him out, it wasn't like he was able to stand. The guy would probably fall if he tried to throw a punch at Finn. Finn chuckled a bit at the thought, it was tempting. If the guy got on his nerves, all he'd had to do was drag him out or swing him over his shoulder. Finn was being cocky with the last one, the guy was basically the same height as him, though it was a bit hard to tell since he couldn't really stand upright. Finn walked back to the soup to check on it, stirring it a bit after squatting down. He couldn't help but glance over his shoulder at the male. He was so intriguing, yet so annoying. Finn couldn't make up his mind about him.

This guy got on Raihns nerves like no one and nothing else had been able to. In fact, it infuriated him, how this guy spoke to him as if he was some problem to solve and get rid of. He didn't ask for the guy to show up out of nowhere or for him to help him. With an annoyed scoff, he watched as Finn returned to the fire and to the pout of warming soup before rolling his eyes in annoyance. His green gaze dropped then to the pills in his hand, and it struck him then that he didn't have anything to take them with. For a split second, he considered calling the guy over but ultimately decided against it. Instead, he set the pills down on his thigh and reached for his sock. Clenching his jaw and attempting to prepare himself as best as he could for what came next, he leaned over and began to slowly and carefully pull his sock on. The pain was excruciating, agonizing in a way he wasn't sure he could describe. The color drained from his face, a bead of sweat appeared on his brow, and he felt light-headed. Still, he didn't stop until his sock was fully on, and only then did he exhale a breath of relief and let himself fall back against the cool wood of the wall behind him, giving himself a much-needed breather before he attempted to put on his shoe.

Finn was aware the male didn't have water to take the pills with, he did it on purpose. At this point,t Finn was making the guy hate him even more, and it was kind of amusing to Finn. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched as the guy struggled to put on his sock. He almost spat out a laugh but forced himself to contain it. He was going to wait until he was just about done putting on his shoe, that should really get him mad. The guy shouldn't get mad at Finn though, because he "didn't know he was going to attempt to get up." Unless he knew how to dry swallow pills, that man needed some water. When he saw that the guy was starting to attempt to put on his shoe, he quickly got up and moved to get a cup of water. He the filled the cup up halfway before making his way over to the male. "Oh, I forgot you need water duh." Finn said, setting the water down beside him. He squatted down and stared at the male through his lashes momentarily.

Raihn waited a couple of moments until the feeling of passing out disappeared. Then, he drew in a breath and grabbed his shoe. Leaning forward he was just beginning to slide it on, gritting against his teeth when suddenly Finn was standing above him again. Immediately he bristled and looked up at him with annoyance, that annoyance was quick to turn into anger, his gaze becoming a glare at his words. Seriously? He knew he should hold his tongue, that he shouldn't say anything more, and simply accept the cup of water but he was too irritated, angry, upset, and in pain to have the patience to do such a thing. Reaching up he took the cup of water, though he kept his gaze a cold glare. "Oh, how thoughtful." He started his tone one of sheer sarcasm. "Next you gonna remember I need air to, or should I start holding my breath?" He questioned with a raised brow. He moved to take the pills, popping them into his mouth and washing them back with a sip of water, all the while he kept his eyes locked onto Finn as he did so.

Finn listened to the male's annoyed tone, he chuckled in response. He kept his eyes locked on the males in front of him, and he could feel the tension between them rising. For a second it made him feel more than just hatred towards the male. He needed to leave or stop looking. Both! He needed to do both. "Oh cheer up sweetie." Finn said, moving his hand to pat the male's cheeks. He let his touch linger on the male as he stood up. "You wouldn't have even made 3 steps." Finn scoffed, turning away. He took a deep shaky breath, trying to release some tension that he was feeling. Walking away he returned back to the pot of food, realizing it was probably hot enough to be taken off the fire. He squatted down in front of the fire and took the pot off, stirring the soup before leaving it there. He had no clue what he wanted to do, he showered last night so he didn't really need to shower again, at least not right now. He sat back, trying to think of what he could do. He for sure couldn't fall back asleep, and he wast about to wake up Jinx or Aleria. He began to hum to himself as he stared at the fire.

Raihn's glare hardened when he heard Finn chuckle. He frowned as he looked up at him, not at all understanding what he found so amusing. In fact, hearing him laugh had him feeling all the more angry and irritated than he had been a second ago. And sweetie? What the hell was up with the pet names? He didn't like them, not from this guy whose very presence he could barely tolerate. He scoffed at his suggestion that he wouldn't have made three steps, what he hated more than hearing him say it was that he was probably right. Odds were that he likely wouldn't have been able to take more than a few steps, and that was if he actually managed to get onto his feet. Folding his arms over his chest he leaned back and looked at Raihn, watching as Finn moved back to the fire. He chewed at his bottom lip as he watched him before he shook his head and looked away. It was then that his eyes landed on the two rabbits and he raised a brow. "You know you should gut those as soon as possible right?" He questioned, turning his gaze from the rabbits and towards Finn, a brow raised as he waited for him to respond.
