(Also, bit of a social tip. You probably shouldn't say that to an artist. The phrase "I wish I could draw like that" comes off more as offensive and rude than anything else to the artist that put in a lot of effort into learning how to draw. There's even a whole forum where artists were talking about how they disliked it. Just something I feel everyone should know :')

A lot of people at school have said this to me and it makes me feel uncomfortable. Expect that one kid who told me they could draw better than me :>

I spent pretty much 2 years sitting in a closet teaching myself how to draw over quarentine cause I didn't have anything else to do.

Learning to draw is a very long process-

My best friend - I think she's super good but she doesn't think so - tried to teach me block shading saying it would be an easier place for me to start. I decided it was somehow harder than the other way.
