I love the idea of moles but also- I feel like it wouldn't be likely. The Timekeeper is literally just this short, childish, wacky, non-binary gremlin who would call all the apprentices 'Friend' and lacks all social cues due to being stuck in their tower all the time taking care of the clocks for multiple millennia. Literally their only friends are mechanical spiders that they've built. |

Okay, I'm all caught up on possible plots! I love them all, though I think mashing the two ideas could be fun. Gremlin Time keeper giving a bunch of amazed and equally terrified appearances a shiny title could be very chaotic and fun. :) |

The only issue with combining the ideas is that with the original council idea, everyone would be multiple millennia old and would've come into existence exactly for their title and role/responsibility. Not sure how I'd put that into the mash-up |
