(Sorry for such a late response!) 𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪 Astroya attempts to keep calm, finding comfort in the thought of a possible cave system below. She looks around at her options; since she can’t climb trees, that idea is out. Noticing a vine dangling from a branch near the other bank, Astroya swiftly moves to the other side, grabbing the vine with her teeth and tying it to a rock. She then offers the vine as a lifeline to her cave drake companion, hoping it will work. |

Furred Fury Party The two of you happily head across the bridge. Suddenly, a loud alarm starts up somewhere upstream, and you're both shocked enough to stay on the bridge just long enough... to see a surge of water headed for you. Before you can react, the water slams into you and the bridge, slamming Spirit against the railing of the bridge and sending Rocky flying over the edge. The surge falls soon after, but Rocky is sent several legs back in the river before being washed ashore. While Spirit is knocked unconscious on the bridge... Hopefully he wakes up or Rocky can reach him before another surge comes. His pets selflessly guard his body from any passing threats, but they cannot hold back the river. . Rocky You open your eyes to see mud and cattails flattened all around you. Slowly, they're popping back up, just like you. It seems these guys are used to flooding like this. You look around for Spirit and realize he must have been left on the bridge. -You May- Head back upstream for Spirit Explore the Forest Cross the River again |

Adira You decide to investigate the writing desk first, finding a couple little poems that have been ruined by time, along with ink that has now dried solid in its glass. There are some useful things though. -You find the following- Ink and Quill Empty Journals (2) Letter Opener (Weapon10dmg) "The Swamp Stories" by Gale Ocean There's nothing else of interest on the writing desk. |

Astroya Lassy immediately understands and grabs the vine in her mouth, using it to help her try to swim to the edge. Each movement sends her sinking deeper and deeper, but closer to you. Until finally, she gets a clawhold in the bank under you and is able to drag herself up. Flopping over in the sand panting, but letting out a groan to express her gratitude to you. -You May- Continue through grasslands Stop and Camp Use the vine to See if there's a cave |

Rocky-canine After shaking the water off his fur , he took a quick Look around, upon not seeing spirit and he let out a sigh. " While I could explore bit , I don't think I should just leave spirit alone on that bridge for too long " he thought as he started to make his way back upstream. |

Rocky You shake the water from your Pelt as you right yourself and begin a quick trot back upstream toward the bridge. Worried for your friend. The entire time, your ears are craned forward in an attempt to hear the alarm if it begins going off again. It must be a spillway alarm from a dam or something further upstream, and if that's the case, you know next time could be much worse, or it could be practically nothing. It's a coinflip. On the other side of the river than you were though, you suddenly trip over a fishing pole! Looking down, it's a stocked up fishing spot. There's a fishing pole much like the one Yew gave you, as well as a small can filled with 10 worms on a Hook. -You May- Continue to Spirit Stop and Fish |

Combing across the counters and through the cupboards for anything useful to you. -You've found the following- Garlic (3) Salt Shaker Pepper Shaker Bag of Sugar There's nothing else useful in the kitchen, save for some Maggots you may be able to use as small bait if you care to harvest them. |

Rocky- canine at seeing the fishing spot, his eyes light up a bit " maybe being washed down stream wasn't all bad " the blue wolf thought as he grabbed the fishing pole , deciding that things should be alright for a brief fishing break. |
