Hello, so resently I picked up traditional art again. I am having a rough time trying to figure out how to blend my colors correctly though. I am using watercolor markers with brush tips. I think this would have turned out a lot better if the wing colors blended, and didnt do whatever this was. Any advice?

Add more water to the sections between of blend the colors by layering I'd that makes sense
