Makes sense. Mir would definitely pull some random bullshit with his squire - like letting the kid attempt to thrown knives/daggers at him off guard. He would wake the kid up and 1 am for a 10 mile run. Mir would definitely be the cranky, crazy yet big brother type mentor.
