Seya looked at him and nodded. She stuck close to him with a whimper and felt herself shake in fear. Humans? Oh, gods no, please. She whimpered louder as she backed up slowly. "I'm scared." She whispered out into the air. "I'm so scared." She looked at Dark Knight and huddled close to him, shaking even more. Similar to how a pup would hide under his or her mother when they are scared.

Shadow heard Dark Knight yelp before looking up. The news helicopter was hovering over the fire. He flattened his ears before trotting back to the pack, stopping beside Seya and Dark Knight. "Calm down everyone! There is no need to be scared of these humans. They are simply trying to figure out what started the fire. Let's go." Shadow shouted to the pack so they wouldn't panic. He started back out at a slow walk, purposefully giving the sign that it was safe to the others.

|Killjoy|

Killjoy heard Saya wimper. He began to slowly run, with Illusion and Lou on his heels. Marbled, Brecken, and Fern, who has Sky in her mouth began as well. Once they were out of the small town Killjoy stopped. He heard a faint roar of bears.

I can get through this. He thought as his mind flashed back to happy memories.

Stop thinking! He growled to himself

Knight looks at Seya with a protective expression "I won't let them hurt you" he says "if they touch you they will die" Knight growls at the sight of the helicopter a few cars slowed on the road to see what was going on. Knight pushes Seya a little deeper into the woods "i have to help" Knight ran back across the street to the animals on the other side "c'mon Night" he says he picks up Calli by the scruff and runs back across the street to Seya.

Frost finished his bird snack before stretching. A weird noise made him look up. A helicopter hovered above the road, watching the fire. As usual. The faint roaring of bears got his attention. Shaking his fur, he scurried up a tree before going deeper into the forest. Time to make some traps. He cackled evily.

|Killjoy|

Killjoy turned around, and bolted back.

"Saya." He said "Let me help you cross. I promise, nothing bad is going to happen. If you don't want help then okay, I'll leave." His voice was warm and soothing as he waited for her.

Seya could not move. She was stuck in a terror of memories from long ago. She shook and couldn't even breathe. She let out another whimper as she saw the helicopter hover around the fire. She tried moving several times with no luck. She looked at Dark Knight and Killjoy and slowly moved from her frozen stance to them. "I'm so scared. I don't know what to do." She whimpered again as she tried hiding from the loud sounds around her.

Killjoy laided next to her.

"Its okay Saya." He sighed knowing that it was going to be hard.

"Close your eyes, and focus on your happy place." He said. "And I will carry you across the road into a peaceful place, do you trust me?" He asked.

Seya looked at Killjoy and closed her eyes. She tried thinking of her 'happy place' as he told her but didn't know what that was. She tried so hard to stop hearing the loud sounds around her that she put her paws over her head to try and help with it. She opened her eyes and looked at the ground. "I can't. I don't know what that is." She said and whimpered. "I- go ahead." She said and slowly lowered her paws from her head and looked at the two around her. "Please don't leave me." She sobbed. "I can't do this alone."

Shadow paused before going back to find Killjoy. He stopped on the side of the road, seeing Seya, Killjoy and Dark Knight on the other side. He sighed before walking into the middle of the road. The cars that had been moving had been moving very slowly and came to a halt. Beeps went out before going silent as if the humans were trying to figure out why he wouldn't move. "Seya! Come on. It's safe now." Shadow said over to Seya, not moving from his spot. The cars would soon move around him or start beeping again but for now, they stayed put.
