to mods : I would like to share a picture of this plush but I believe it would be considered " fandom art related " as it is a fandom and it was homemade, so if this could be confirmed or let me know if I can post the picture of it or not ^^'
I have been wanting a Godzilla plushie for a while as I have a love for those movies ( what can I say, I like the radioactive reptile)
But I've struggled to find one in the first place along with me being picky about quality/feel of the material.
so needless to say when my favorite plush pattern designer released a Godzilla pattern( for free mind you ) , I immediately got the stuff around. Printing out the pattern, getting the embroidery files on my machine , looking though my horde of fabric for just the right shade of gray minky and broke out my expensive/ordered online blue minky for this spikes.
like this guy got hand picked stuff, normally for sewn plushies that I make I just grab minky that would look cute for that specific plush , this guy I actually took 30 minutes to decide on the the color of his claws ( do I use a light gray or would white be sharper.... do I have a ivory minky? ) literally that thought process went on for 30 minutes lol
Fast forward 3-4 hours in sewing time lol ( including dealing with all the hand sewing stuff)
I now have a adorable Godzilla plushie , that I love the feel of since he is so soft 💖plus i broke out the silky polyfill stuffing ( its so soft, Iv done comparing between normal stuffing and silky stuffing and the silky is by far the best for super soft plushies) so he is a perfect cuddle buddy!
Plus I'm honestly proud of myself because , whenever I'm sewing a plushie I always make some kind of mistake, misalignment of stitch lines, missing some fabric thus a making a hole that I don't see until I'm stuffing it or sewing the face upside down ( that was a "fun" mistake >.< ) I only had a few mistakes this time around so I could that a win lol
So taking into account everything I had to do to get this guy done , I'm really happy with the end results
