I think I'll make the thread for this once we get a first mate, the sailing master is finished, and we have some character driven-plot ideas just to get us started.

Also I realized we need a vague timeline of events. Feel free to mention any character stuff you think should go on here (ex. if your pirate joined/rejoined the crew within this timeframe)
-9 months ago, the original captain was slain in an unspecified battle. He seemed to have known this would have been his last as he buried his treasure just before this and never got the chance to tell any crewmates where he put it. I don't know what his name was, but the general idea for the old captain I see forming was that he was responsible but strict. So if he was starting to have ailing health and grow weaker, he certainly didn't let anyone know that either.
-Shortly after, Spork H. Sully stepped up and took control of the ship. Over the next few months he and the crew would try to keep their daring and dangerous reputation up, but this costed them more sailors and gained them even less gold.
-I'd say around 1-2 weeks ago is when they captured the princess, definitely the most daring plan of a captain in the White Tide's history. Most of the crew was eager to restore their former glory and were enthusiastically on board, and those who weren't kept it to themselves or were out-voted by a landslide.
-they've been in the siren bay for most of this time period and have lost the majority of their crew to either 1) the escape from the guards and the navy when they first got Anastasia or 2) the sirens. What was a pretty daunting crew has been reduced to a small handful of those who clearly have the best self-restraint and will force. Location wise.. I think some made up area near Greece maybe? they're in the bay of a dangerous deserted island
