Boating accinestts, venomous sea crstuff cheeksures, scuba equipment malfunctions, even murder, there are so many ways to die on the ocean, and people do, all the time. Lost at sea.

Not everybody gets to come back. In fact, as far as the grstuff cheekser world is aware, dstuff cheeksh is a rather permanent affliction.

Which is why, it comes as rather a shock, when six individuals, each of varying ages and backgrounds, wake benstuff cheeksh the waves, their only memories that of their traumatic dstuff cheekshs.... Oh, and they're merfolk now.

Each of the six has had their bodies transformed, stretched and molded into unique representations of nightmare fuel, with all the bizarre instincts to match. They are alive, but they've been irrevocably changed.
