ASDSGDHSHS THE PRECIOUS FLOWER CHILD Ughh too bad Alessandria would have been realistically too ~busy~ to make his acquaintance. Ygraine would fuss over him with mothering instinct tho- but not in a very "friend" way, more like "this pretty peasant boy could've been married if he'd stop fussing over plants??" Ed would befriend him right after he's granted access to the gardens ("just making sure he doesn't mess up the palace garden") and secretly treasure the flower crown but can't wear it because he needs to look proper at all times

If Basil and Alessandria do meet, he'll instantly give her a flower-themed nickname to remember her. With Basil's brain, he doesn't remember names quite well, but when it comes to flowers he's a pro. Aless' nickname would be Laria after the Fritillaria Persica flower. Not Ygraine trying to set him up for marriage. Love it how she has a strong disliking towards men, but Basil is an exception. XD Basil would show the other woman respect, but due to his lack of proper socialization manners, he might not address her as a lady or anything similar. Her nickname would Salvia after the White Sage flower. Oh yes, I love the idea of servant buddies. *^* I love their blooming friendship and Basil would give him smaller flowers so that Ed can still wear them while remaining dignified. Lastly, his nickname would be Mar-Mar, named after the Marigold Tagetes flower. |

Basil is currently a servant at the castle and mostly focused on maintaining the gardens, which are beautiful thanks to him. He isn't anyone's personal servant, but he still helps them out if someone asks for it. |
