This is super random but with finals being done I have some free time and it's been a hot minute since I've been in a RP. I wanna make some LORE. So I just want to test the waters :3 - Would y'all be interested in a dragon RP? It would have multiple factions, most likely following my own Tricier (dragon) lore. I would get the lore straightened out of course. I really just want a long life RP. Something that doesn't die. And if it follows the lore, it wouldn't JUST be dragons, but multiple species. It would mostly be focused on people's personal OCs! Maybe adopts you've gotten and haven't made a story for yet! - Sorry, that was a lot of strange yap but just wanted to see if people would be interested. Long-life = RP that doesn't die in two weeks. Poll Question: Would you join a 'Long-life' RP?Total Votes: 20
Yes! (Dragon preference) : | 9 | 45% | | Yes! (All species/OC preference) : | 4 | 20% | | Maybe? (I might join then disappear after 2 weeks) : | 6 | 30% | | No (Bad idea) : | 0 | 0% | | Other (Suggest plot points/ways to make this live) : | 1 | 5% | | You have cast your vote.

Maybeee, by dragon do you mean feral dragon or maybe even anthro dragons are allowed? Some might even have humanoid dragon characters, not me but on the subject it's a question? I might join whether or not, been out of roleplay community for a whilee 👁️👁️

It could mean anything! (Sorry that's vague lol) Personally, my own characters have human forms with the ability to turn into dragons. But the setting, being fantasy, could fit any number of dragon hybrids. Anthro dragons, feral dragons, humans who turn into dragons, humanoid dragons, etc. (I really hope this answered the question lol) BJake said: Maybeee, by dragon do you mean feral dragon or maybe even anthro dragons are allowed? I might be tempted to give it a shot as I have some feral dragon OCs I'd like to try at some point.

I don't RP much anymore, but I played in a really long-lived one. Each person was in a small group and each week a new challenge was set forth for the groups. The groups could rp with each other or on their own, but they earned stuff by succeeding in the challenges. Havign a group helped make friends and some groups formed alliances and other rivalries. Challenges were stuff like riddles and the groups rp'd figuring them out in character. It was a lot of fun and held attention for a long time!

Ok Quick question as I have been mulling this over... - Would you all like this to be almost like a DND style or More Semi-Literate to Literate (book style in my words) - 'DND' Style would mean different factions would have different abilities that come in handy along the journey. (ex. Outlaws (criminals) would be able to negotiate/trick non-player characters for information. I would probably use an coin-flip/RNG to determine success) A story (semi-literate to Literate) style would mean events like that wouldn't happen, and it would be more up to the characters to determine success. - The reason I bring this up as some of the troubles I see with roleplays is that people disappear and don't reply, leaving other people hanging and leading to role-play death. a 'DND' style is a bit different and unquie (i only know one other roleplay on here that used this style) this 'DND' style would still require literacy. Not a few sentence replies, but may also help with people in the case they get writers block, or if they get stuck!! - If there are any other suggestions let me know! (And sorry if there's any typos. Feel free to ask questions)
