I know the rule that art with characters from shows, movies, etc. are not allowed. However, I have a weird question: is it ok to draw & post ponies that are drawn in a similar fashion to the MLP: FiM shhow (cutie marks and all), or would that count as fandom art?

All characters drawn would be my own original characters, and not show characters at all. They would also be all my own designs (or the designs of other people if I did an art shop).

Using your own fan made characters would pretty much be the definition of fandom art, as fandom covers both characters from the actual story and fan made characters
