Are uncommon, rare, legendary, and dynamic traits inheritable?

Do ptarmigan feathers work if parents don't have dynamic coats?

No, they aren't. Common traits are the only ones that can be inherited. Uncommon, Rare, Legendary and Dynamic traits only occur at random, which is why you can get pups with these traits even if the parents don't have them.

Because Dynamic coats aren't inheritable, my guess is that Ptarmigan Feathers work no matter what. They slightly boost your chances of getting a Dynamic coat from a breeding.

Also, wouldn't this kind of question go in Member Help? xD
