My recommendation would be to pick one or two things that you care for more than other things, and focus on that. It's difficult to breed for too many things, especially as you are starting out.
You can also try posting in the forum to see if you can find breeding partners that also want to focus on the same things as you ^^

Some people breed howlers & wrestlers for FMC (I think it is 5th-9th each month?), but I don't think those have any use outside of that if I remember correctly

XD yeaaa.. I really need to work on it.. should also probably look for a different app as well, I don't have much tools to work with- I would use IbisPaintX, just I feel like it's much harder to work on.. or maybe I'm just picky. Who knows xD. I'll probably move to Procreate or Infinite Paint

personally i use magma, it's just a website- and i don't use many tools at all, just a round brush at 51 or 30-something % opacity, and sometimes a shape tool for backgrounds- that's it
