The best part is, we're just going out to sea to finish our flight deck trials from before (launching/recovering some aircraft) and preparing for some bigger tests. We'll have some extensive drills where we've gotta act like we're combating a flood, fire, etc. They're honestly entertaining save from the fact that they can last hours on end. xD
Imma die with our work hours when we're at sea though. 7am to 7pm and we never have work to last us beyond noon, so we just sit and try to look busy to avoid petty work like painting walls or cleaning a floor that can never fully be clean. lmaoo

We normally have two shifts, the 7am to 7pm shift and the 7pm to 7am shift. My shop only has 1 person fully qualified to be in charge of the shop so we're all just day checks/shift one.
It sucks for him though, sometimes someone from night check in another shop needs one of us to be up for something and he often has to be the one to stay behind since none of us are qualified. D: |

After our shift is over, there's a chance we'll be scared awake by some alarms and we'll have to go do a drill. It hasn't happened yet and I fear the day that it does happen. |
