i think basil and tao would be close. i'll talk about him in more detail after i finish his drawing, but he has severe anger issues that he tries to repress, so i think he would do very well with someone who can calm him down :) |

Basil would happily be Tao's sense of peace 🫶 Depends how Tao is while angry, he'll sit in silence and take his fingers through Tao's hair while he rants or use comforting words to soothe his fit of rage

Yes. We need more members for the Basil Cult. Pfft, he got slapped in one RP and everyone wanted to commit murder in the discussion. Another is when he was being threatened at knife point in another RP, and the royal family and half of the staff of the castle was also pissed. No matter where Basil goes, he'll have an army. |

As he should. Violet herself will track down and murder anyone who cares do anything to her children, especially Esta and Basil. Sol would continue being confused, but just follow everyone else's lead Esta would just stay behind and comfort Basil while everyone else committed murder (as a healer does-) XD |

he basically starts off by getting pissy and loud and can escalate really quickly into being aggressive, so basil being there to help him cool off would mean a lot to him. he'd have complicated feelings about needing the help in the first place, but he would appreciate it.

i think that if tao heard someone say even the slightest insulting word towards basil, he'd sock 'em immediately. and then climb on top of them and start punching more. jiyun, on the other hand, would just sit in the back not really paying attention and giving half-hearted cheers whenever someone throws a punch. she'd probably set up bets amongst whatever crowd forms (though she, personally, would bet on the basil army side.)
