Cause church should be a free will thing, don't wanna go then don't have to. I remember going to Catholic school and we went to Mass on Wednesdays every week, and even the non Catholics had to attend, didn't have to receive though so that's kinda fair I guess? Probably easier than just gathering them into a room for this hour or so event

Yes, there has been a few demigods of the past 👀
One had been a more chaotic demigod that really scarred Ambrose, what happened was whenever Ambrose spoke, the demigod would mock him. Just the usual things such as using an overly high pitched voice to imitate Ambrose but it really angered him ^^
A good experience was when one of the demigods kept giving him offerings, bringing in new followers for him, etc. He really loved that one.
Another bad one was a demigod who misused his powers, and broke Ambrose's door and punched a few holes in his walls.
Generally Ambrose doesn't trust the newer demigods but this batch seems to be okay, so far

Ambrose reminds me of that meme where one cat just keeps smackin the life out of the second one on the head. Him being the one cat, and then everyone else who terrorizes him being the second cat.
