I voted Mood since I decorate my wolves to fit various moods/themes (fire, dark, frost, earth, pelt defect-theme, etc), but I'd love to see Terrain-based backgrounds. My favorites are Duck Pond, Skoll/Hati, Firefly Field, Firefly Forest, and Garden Gates. I'd use Niagara Falls, but it's still misspelled. |

Fantasy or Abstract Art seems very cool, especially because that is so open ended and I think we have a few of the other options already ^^ |

I chose "other" since I love a -wide- variety of backgrounds I love the ones that have a clear ground for the wolves to stand on. Some backgrounds are extremely pretty, but the wolf looks like tehy're photoshopped over it because their feet don't actually connect to the ground. (like having long grass where the wolf is standing... so it looks like the wolf is floating over the grass instead of standing in the grass) The most important thing for me honestly, is the lighting. If the lighting in the background doesn't match the wolf / their gear, then it throws my brain off. There's some really very pretty backgrounds that just don't match the art style of anything else, so I never end up using them, or I very rarely find a wolf they work with. Decor rarely matches backgrounds or wolves, so a background that they do match the lighting and style of is a huge plus. My favorite-most background is the Fenrir event one. I'm a huge fan of the new Mystic background as a close second, though it only works with some poses (alpha male, for example, leaves on foot floating oddly in the air because the hillside isn't quite wide enough for al four paws to be on the ground) The Cave of Elders, Moonscape, and Firefly Forest are my next favorites. I used the Jungle one a lot in the beginning, now i save it for just my flowery/plant themed wolves. |

This!! Also Mystical Valley needs to be nudged up a bit otherwise AM's back paws are floating and AF is just hoverboarding. Give them all a skateboard or something. 😔 |

i love the mountains, i love tundra, i LOVE dynamic background!!! i would love more fall backgrounds too. |

all? Like i love Ruin or biome one but also darker/ lighter ones(not plain colors as eh but fantsy is cool would love like a mystical garden with floating crystals.... |

I agree with Cybertronion on the wolves sometimes looking like they are photoshopped onto the background. A fix there would be great. I also really enjoy the dynamic backgrounds, the sunset beach one for the dog days is fun! If I were to come up with a new background theme I would say something Volcanic. My den is semi sorted into regions. And I have different warrior wolves that protect different sectors of the island. I always kind of thought along the tundra area it looks like a volcanic ridge line. 🌋 |
