Its' just a pattern/coloration in her pelt. It doesn't do anything besides affect her looks

what is a somatic mutation? My pup Redwillow has it in her coat discription.

My recommendation would be to pick one or two things that you care for more than other things, and focus on that. It's difficult to breed for too many things, especially as you are starting out.
You can also try posting in the forum to see if you can find breeding partners that also want to focus on the same things as you ^^

okey good to know :) just wonder if i can make a line that personsw will be breeding to :)

Some people breed howlers & wrestlers for FMC (I think it is 5th-9th each month?), but I don't think those have any use outside of that if I remember correctly

It depends entirely on what you want to breed for. Rarity is only a pelt thing, but tends to be popular for their looks. Talents means your pups will start out with more CP, which is good if you're breeding battle wolves/ explore a lot. Many people love defects too though

What does the boost survivalism do? I didn't know about it until today.

Survivalism makes your wolf need food (and possibly water) less often than regular wolves.

.

I also just noticed that Survivalism isn't on the list yet and it's been out for a while, so that might be something to add.

What is the 'best' boost?

I know I'm super late... but.....
It really depends on the pack specialization. For instance, all the geode openers in WP? Karmic blessings would be helpful in that case.
Battlers and Explorers love DH's. In PvP, they have a huge advantage in battle; and the same is for IS and ES. BE trainers favor Unparalleled learning; of course to train quicker

Thank you for making this list. I was wondering about the different boosts. I have one with the Divine Health.
Question though, I have a wolf with an 'extra vertabre' - What does this fall under ? And is it a genetic disorder that will get handed down?

That's a defect that does not affect any cp points. All defects have a possibility of being handed down, but it's not guaranteed.

Extra Vertabrae is a defect, not a boost. However, Extra Vertabrae has no known affect on wolves. To learn more about defects and how they affect wolves click here.
